She's funny, she's cruel, she's crazy and she stuck a candle at the main character's eyes.
Then she fell in love with her victim.
She's just too awesome.

LOL that's pretty hardcore about Road. Although I love her now (I think ever since she the Ark arc?), I found her creepy in her first arc and when she tortured poor General Yeager. I was "impressed" by her shoving the candle in Allen's eye though. That told me she wouldn't be some ordinary villain.

Lena is awesome sauce for sure. Only thing for me is that she, like Lavi, needs a serious background arc for her development, like Kanda got and like Allen is sort of having now.

I don't know if there's much in store for Lenalee. I remember that she had all the "being alone" thing going, but that was handled in the level three akuma arc. Don't know if she'll get more background without an asspull.

I've feared for some time now that the ship may have sailed for her already. But you never know. If she gets a major role in upcoming plotting, it wouldn't be an asspull.

I didn't exclude that. What I was trying to say is that her chances for more background story are pretty dim.

I also hope to see her in future arcs.

i love road as well

i wish we saw more of her, but i cannot say i like her more than lenalee

lenalee is just a total bad ass when it comes to fighting, and she is a great caring person

however i will say road is near the top of all of my favorite female villain characters, she is an amazing character, not quite completely evil, actually she isnt really evil, but definitely not an angle either

i still love the kiss scene

Right, I guess I should have said that. I took it for granted most folks here would remember that it should be the same as with the anime, but there are still a lot of folks who are confused about it all, aren't there? (What I was ROFLing about though was that they're actually bothering to serialize it. The latest ep was pretty decent though, comparatively-- to be fair.) xD

Anyway... since the manga is on long hiatus for a while, and the manga had reached quite far from the last chapter included in the anime, would there be a possibility for the anime's reboot?

I myself is asking for a total reboot. Actually I didn't liked how they animated the whole series... plus the fillers are dead boring.

Agreed!! However I wouldn't say all the episodes were bad. I thought episode 56 was perhaps their biggest success in the entire show. It still stands as one of the personal greatest shonen jump anime adaptation episodes i've ever seen.

Anyway, there is some uncomfirmed imformation about Valvrave being 4-cour, which means it is very likely to have around 48-52 episodes. I don't know if Hoshino can manage to take any more work. The rough sketches for Valvrave make me understand how much effort she put to the anime.

What is that supposed to mean? I suppose you're just going to say it was a joke, but that's in very poor taste. First, it wasn't even close to Father's Day where I am (2:50 am on the day now) when I updated that post. Second, it was just a copy/paste of a couple of paragraphs to the end from something I wrote like a month ago. Third, my "prep" for Father's Day is complete. It doesn't have to take every waking second of my life and the last thing my dad wants is to make a big deal out of it. Fourth, if you're jumping to the conclusion that I have no good reason to be up at this time of night, you're wrong, and I'd much rather be sleeping like I was an hour ago, if I had the choice.

Oh my god I'm sorry, I think I get what you meant now. You were talking about Allen and Mana and not me and my father there. (And your English was fine really-- just a little ambiguous as I wasn't sure who you were talking about, but I should have asked.) This is no excuse but I've been under a lot of stress lately and that must have led me to read something into that post that I shouldn't have. I was shocked too, because you've always been such a nice person since I joined the forum, non-chan. I apologize for letting you see that. OTL
