Hmm, good question, non-chan. No idea. Maybe they're waiting for more to be revealed about him yet. Or maybe they wanted some unique art for all the characters at the same time...

BTW someone's collecting fanmails to send to Hoshino here. (Deadline's by the end of the week so hurry!) I still encourage people to send their own, but there's no harm doing both. ^_^

Maybe Nea will get the cover of volume 24 and they are waiting for its release to add Nea to the characters corner.

I wonder if the readers tweet JumpSQ about DGM.

Would they reply to a twitter in english?

^ I'm sure in the past, someone might've popped JumpSQ a DGM question. It probably wouldn't hurt to try Tweeting something to JumpsQ and see what happens? I'm sure they can kidnap an English proficient staff member. (Edit: Aaahhh!! That's what I get when panicking about my laptop dying of battery power!! @_@ Repeated words....)

(Wait, didn't Nea get a cover already? Although, that's a bit....questionable..., I guess as to who's in control? I don't mind seeing Nea again though, but I do miss seeing Allen too... X_X *prays still for Allen/Nea merge-ish situation*)

I meant December Issue (which going to release on November). When I checked the line-up for series that is getting color pages on December Issue, D.Gray-man isn't included. I think D.Gray-man deserves to get at least a color page when it resume (even Embalming got a color page).

So...apparently, it seems volume 24 will have 2 different cover. You can get the 2nd from JumpSQ December issue (out in November 2nd)

Two different covers? Oh if it's finally true I hope we'll get a great HQ scan of the one bundled with the December issue of Jump SQ ^^. The only thing I fear it's if it would be too much work for Hoshino-sensei.

She had almost a year to work on it. Even if she did it in a slow pace, I think drawing two covers won't be too much for her. (I at least hope so)

Doing the covers wont be that big a deal. Also she worked on Valvrave character designs so i take it that doing some art work is not to big a deal.

What i suspect is that she cant work continuously for extended periods, and releasing half chapters every 3 or 4 months just wont do it. But im curious whats up with her. Cause its taking long yet she did a oneshot and the valvrave character art.

She drew a oneshot (with 2 color pages), 2 insanely beautiful artworks for boxes and over 50 sketches (a lot of them was completed in lineart, and I just count what has been released), volume 24's must-do things (only volume covers if the oneshot takes place either volume covers and possibly an extra chapter). I am not suprised if her illness suddenly knocked her off.
Beside, using the dip-pen (what you use to draw manga) is painful. My wrist hurts just for one page.
