^ non-chan did the math, and that seems to be about right considering Hoshino is one chapter short of making it a full tankoubon (assuming the next chapter was 20 pages long). Vol. 23 consists of 8 chapters - Night 206-212. The "bonus" manga is counted as an extra that adds more to the book. I'm looking at it right now in mine.

As for the 20 pages, well.... We shall see.

Most likely the one shot. I remember Hoshino did one shot for Miracle Jump during the hiatus and I'm pretty sure that one shot is short.

I really wouldn't be surprised if it's that one-shot. (Seems right?) At least, if it does end up being that one-shot, I'll just pretend that the male MC is Cross' previous life (somehow)! Haha... ^o^

The Japanese 2ch posters are bumping up the spoiler section in "anticipation" even if it's just for the new covers and 20 page extra. One of them is nervous. In the other thread, a user mentioned the Nea cover (thanks to animate.co.jp's site). Someone asked that user where they can see it. No response to that question. I did my own research on that site. Did not see anything just yet about the rumored Nea cover. However, they interestingly list the next SQ issue as the "D.Gray-Man" cover edition under SQ's news section. Animate seems to be one of the online stores that will carry this special D.Gray-Man version. I'm only scratching my head slightly on this, because I see that anniversary cover on SQ's site.

Edit: And I'm going to throw post #885 into obscurity rumor land until #24 comes out. However, if that's the case, I hope she doesn't end up like Yukiru-sensei. Her health comes first and she better come back!! >D

I try not to get my hopes up too much, but this is just too exciting for me. I'm really happy to see new things about DGM pop up! I'll cross my fingers for the series to start up again in the Jan. issue.. but I still feel that it won't be until the start of next year.

Right so I checked oricon again because I forgot about the thread for it (thanks for the updates, Kaizou), and then I saw Niko_kun's post again. D'oh! Anyways, maybe I suck, but DGM went up to #2! (OP has #1 spot virtually permanently so it might as well be in its own category... ) Technically DGM sold more in the first week at 178,091, but I thought it would go down by more than that, so I'm happy. (I won't be surprised if the next ranking has a real drop in it now, tho.)

yeah i think next week its going to be on #20 spot or so because dgm sells around 500,00 per volume so, its almost there, but i think its so nice that in its second week it ranked higher than the its first. It'll probably appear on the 2013 most-selling list )

Regarding the "kokoro no tomo" thing, I'm sure it's just because he's a character she cares a lot about and feels "guilty" for torturing as she does. iirc she more or less said that in a previous volume's omake (in Japanese though, and it didn't make it to the English volume).

Although, some omakes have some weird foreshadowing powers like the "bed wetting" experience. I'm going to keep one good eye open on this 「心の友」 just in case.
