an anime would be nice but...manga is relased less so i kinda doubt it. but one can hope

They could do the OVAs-and-recap-movie(s) thing for a year to promote it and heighten the nostalgia first (and stall), as they've done with others. Also, if sensei is relatively close to the end of the series, it could very well be doable after all. Worst case scenario if they tried that would be a filler/hiatus period for the anime or something.

Honestly, I'd rather we get a new novel rather than an anime reboot.

The anime ended with the Level 4 fight, and manga is only ahead by a handful of arcs: Zombie Arc, Move to new HQ (which is short in itself), Timothy, and Alma Karma & Kanda arc. Looking for A.W has been going on for quite a while (all things considered) but honestly they could really sum everything up in like 2 episodes. I was very unsatisfied with the half-asses filler arcs the first time around so I'd very much rather wait another few years. Please remember that as of now, DGM is expected to continue to release on a quarterly basis and we've already spent the last 2 chapters (and thereby the last 6 months) with like 5% plot progress. So unless the series is ending in the next 2 years (and thereby the next 6 chapters) a new anime would catch up and end in no time.

I know that DGM's return was huge and it most definitely deserves a reboot, but holy crap do I sincerely wish they hold off on the anime and let the manga run its course.
It's really easy to f this one up, especially with the current manga pacing. So please no anime. Please.

Honestly I'd be thrilled if they did a careful, high quality OVA series of the DGM Reverse novels as standalone releases. They'd make great bonus inserts for special edition releases of new DGM volumes in Japan.

I would be down with that! Pretty much all of the stories (except like the very, very first one, the story book-like one about the Earl) would do well as an OVA. Much better, in fact, than just episodes. But some could be adopted into episodes as well. Can't see any of them pulling for a movie though. Side note, I really don't think DGM is movie material :| So hopefully it never gets to that.

Just some general questions:

Is Jump Fest televised? Or are they just panels like at ComicCon and such? Do they allow video taping? Also, did anyone get around to translating the official DGM blog posts on the Jump Crown website from back in October?

They're both saying that Volume 25 will be released in Japan on March 4th 2016 as per an announcement by Shueisha...
I've not seen Shueisha's announcement though so.... I'll take it with a grain of salt for now.

Though it might as well be true, because this January chapter, assuming it's at least around 60 pages, should be the last one needed to fill a volume (180 pages, give or take).

So it makes sense.
