Doesn't look like we're getting a chapter this month. We're getting a oneshot, instead....which is very sudden.

So is this the whole line-up or is there a chance that there a lavi-filled chapter in there too? Please? please?

^ Might not be the full line-up. (Although, I'm kind of lazy at the moment to check my SQ Crown issue to see how many stories they fit into that one. It's the first issue too. )

For now, it's just the list for the manga that get color cover/splash pages or special one-shots. The "preview". At least, that's how it works for some other publications. The full list gets revealed as the release date gets very close. Edit edit: Noting, I'm sourcing my own observation from SQ Crown's official site. I don't know Korean.

(Or maybe, I just spy on the Monthly Zero-sum website so much that I go crazy....)

However, this is very unusual to not see DGM on the front cover. So, I started to theorize that this could be a way to suddenly let the other stories, in the mag, get a chance to be on the front page. Kekkai Sensen: Back 2 Back is a SQ Crown regular.

Now, I fully understand what the "Tumblr" rage is about from what I've read on Twitter. Are some fans really freaking out about not seeing DGM on the cover?

Edit: Ok, so I finally saw that IG post about Hoshino-sensei quitting IG several months ago. It was sort of bound to happen, I suppose. She was posting a lot of spoilery like pics at one point. ^__^ I was kind of wondering if the editor was okay 100% with this. However, it was a great time to be able to communicate with her. Will miss her activity, but I'm kind of ok that everyone will be more in the dark. Just my 2 cents on this.

So tgirl gave me some hope. What she said on one of the other forum pages was that it's not the full line up and the ones we are seeing now are featured ones with color pages.. that the rest of the list will get released closer to the time it's expected. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best

I understand that people are angry, but how do you think Hoshino feels?
We already know how much she cares about her fans and how she is similiar to Miranda.
The pressure people put on her must be terrible, fans and editors alike...

Makes me kinda glad I'm not in her shoes

So apparently SQ added another change and now you can read a destcription of the one shot. So apparently it's not a sequel it's just a revised edition of the original one shot. So now I'm really confused @-@

Usually, at this time we start to have spoilers already so i guess we won't have a new chapter this month and I wonder why.

That's 3 months at the least. we may not get anything Jan. either. lol But I feared this when both of Hoshino's books were taken off the market.

But, it's a waiting game. We fans of DGM just have to get used to the fact the series may be infrequent at times, and take breaks. Always good to have a backup series. I may try to find other manga, or anime to get into. Then it makes the DGM waits a bit easier. Or, like some do, re-read the manga all together. Many had to do that when the hiatus was over lol

I just don't understand why there is no chapter. Before DGM returned, hoshino was posting pictures of what appeared to be future chapters. So if she has a backlog of extra chapters her taking a break should still allow us a chapter this month since she already (according to pictures she posted) completed future chapters...

I said it before. But if she cancelled the manga and just released 1 final novel or databook that outlines the rest of the story, tells what became of characters, and how the war ending, pairings (if any), etc. Than I would be perfectly content with that.

Because she said the manga wasn't close to being finished. And at the current pace, it will take her 20 years minimum to give 80 more chapters. And with her health already not being in top form..... So rather than tax herself trying to draw out the story, she may just need to take a final short cut, and do the above. I think writing out the remainder of things won't be quite as taxing as all of the effort in drawing the characters, fights, and detail. And that still won't be as bad as what happened with Kubo and Bleach., where there were tons of unresolved plots, character arcs, character fates, and stuff that's rendered useless since it never came up again before cancellation.

Then fans will get the rest and ending of the story, and she can rest a bit easier and maybe just draw one-shots or short stories afterward, rather than anymore long series.

I have face palm right in the first paragraph...... (it actually was a tweeter campaign that has almost nothing to do with the TOC, I know because I was taking part in retweeting like mad for that I'm gay oneshot...)

@NonExisted Well thank you for correcting it ! I would rather hear news from someone like you who knows for a fact a bit more about what's going on! I don't want to spread any false hope or things that aren't accurate.

The poster knows about the campaign too, but was too depend on it with "DGM SHOULD BE THE PRIORITY" in mind.

I understand that DGM is a flagship of Crown, but just one of the flagships. With the anime has ended, it has to step down for a bit.

But what I want to say is, whether there is or isn't 224 this month, please don't attack or blame on anything, including AnO or Hallow, especially AnO...
