Confirmation, no chapter this month. They are a msg from magazine for said serie is on break this issue and no resume date annonced. About oneshot, its not a sequel, its just the original oneshot publish in 2013.

Well hey at least I get to reread AnO. I don't think I've read it since it came out 3 yrs ago ! I hope Miss Hoshino is ok and that her health isn't taking a nose dive again ! So S.Q. Crown doesn't know when the series will return?

Seriously Hoshino or the magazine should freaking announce that there wont be a chapter like 2weeks ago to ease the waiting game, now everyone is disapointed and displeased becouse now another 3months of waiting is ahead of them, if this goes on people will totaly forget that this manga ever exists. If Hoshino wants to end the manga she should finish the chapters she already has and release them in issues, while in meantime she can take the time to write down a finishing novel to the whole story.

Honestly I really hope she is ok. She has had a lot of pressure with the wonky release of the anime and that stunt her editor pulled on Instagram . I know she identifies as being Miranda but if that's true Miranda pushes herself/ is under pressure a lot and ends up getting hurt. I just hope she is doing well physically and mentally .

The no return date thing is thing I'm most upset about!!!! I don't mind Hoshino taking a quarter off or even two but I don't think I can handle another 3-year hiatus.

I really do wish Hoshino could either publish more novels ( since it's less work for her) or get another artist. Both of these scenarios are awful but they're better than a multiple year hiatus!

I can feel how important instagram was, it created somehow a connection between the author and her fans; to at least know about her news and having answers to our questions. but now we don't have this advantage anymore.

Also I hope that "Demon King" one-shot gets re-scanned because it seems Hoshino redrew it because that intro page looks completely different than one we've already seen.

Any idea which scan group might do it? Cause everywhere I've looked only has the old one scanned.

As far as I can tell, there are no significant redrawings for Ayakashi no Ou! c: The chapter cover was just for the reprint, I think.

There also isn't anything written for or against a chapter in January. I imagine something is being worked out higher up in the chain, maybe...?

I have a bad feeling that this is mainly something about the anime and it's crew.......

Doesn't look like we're getting a chapter this month. We're getting a oneshot, instead....which is very sudden.

Quite funnily, this thought was going back and forth in my mind these past few days. We do know she has drawn a lot of pages by now that only need to be screentoned. So, although health can be a factor, if she has several pages done already, I'm not sure if health can be a factor on that? ....*shrugs*

Well, it's still better to have her be healthy, regardless. Even if she has one chapter completed already... I'm just amazed at the release schedule. It feels like we get a new official English DGM tankouban once every two years at this rate. That'll average out to four books per decade, if SQ.Crown still exists a decade from now? *rubs chin*
