It's becoming ridiculous. Well in previous chapters we always got spoilers before a few days from the release date but this time it's not the case, not even a little sign like a color page. I don't want to be pessimistic but I assume there will be no chapter this month either. It feels like we are in hiatus again with no news to be announced.

More than hiatus, it just feels like a "We'll release it whenever the hell we feel like it."

But a hiatus would be better than them announcing releases, then pulling them back like they started doing.

What I don't understand is why such a good manga has to be treated that way. D. Gray man deserve better, at least, giving some explanation with every delay and not letting fans waiting without any news.

We all know Hoshino's health cannot keep up with deadline. No matter what, her health comes first, not DGM

While i agree hoshino's health comes first, before DGM returned we saw spoiler images from chapters that appeared to be much later than the place where we currently are at. which would suggest that she had prepared chapters in advance. so...where are those chapters?

To your surprise...she doesn't work on chapter order.
Also, with 3 months between chapters, it's really easy for her to suddenly change her plan on story

I know Hoshino's health is top priority.
But that doesn't mean that there shouldn't be an announcement beforehand!
It already comes out once every 3 months, so saying beforehand if a chapter is being released or no is in my opinion a normal thing to do.
I would have cared less if it came out every other week, but it doesnt.
Leaving the readers in the dark isn't right.

For god's sake, DGM is like a soft version of Joe Bunham.

They're very secretive. Same with hallow's DVD cancellation. They just say "various circumstances" but many were excited for it, and wanted reasons for why the DVDs were pulled.

I think all the troubles started with Hallow. Sometimes I feel like having a second season was no good other than making things more complicated for the manga. It defenetly has a hand in all those delays.

You'll get no argument from me. Before Hoshino started supervising Hallow, she seemed to be doing well. She was releasing chapters, and managing her tumblr. But then that crap, known as TMS, released that turd did -called "Hallow." And their actions are responsible for Hoshino losing her Insta account when she spoke out on the inappropriate representation of her character(s).

It's the same to any other normal other series.

I will not say anything about Hallow and "Hallow ruins everything" again. And it's not like everything is delayed.

Agreed. People would probably be more patient and understanding if we had info. It's hard to understand when you're not given the chance. If her health is bad now, then deepest sympathies, and hope she is doing well. But, is it her health, or is it something else all together. We don't know, because no info is ever given for announcing chapters for release, then saying they're not coming a week before.

All we get is "No chapter, see you in 3 months." Then when 3 months is almost up, rinse and repeat "No chapter. See you in 3 months." So naturally, people get a bit annoyed, and vent their anger. lol
