Well, technically the anime is currently between vol. 5 & vol. 6...

Volume 5 ended with Suman becoming a togaochi, didn't it? Well, that's what I checked - the anime screwed up the storylines, didn't it? Close enough, I guess. It's nowhere near the current arc, although the animators could probably have seen that the Ark arc will be pretty short, if animated, and would need to be done all at once.

I guess Lulubell and Mimi work together and the latter does an unexpected maneuver and destroys Mei-Ling's Innocence. I think Mimi is trying to help Lulubell understand the "the meaning of living" to her master while she is getting severely injured.

そして、クロス元帥の足取りを辿り「天青楼」にたどり着くと店主のアニタ、マホジャに出会う。サポーターでもあるアニタはクロス元帥がすでに船で旅立ち、敵に撃沈されたと告げる。

しかし「僕の師匠は、そんな事では沈みませんよ」というアレンの一言に船を出す決心をするアニタ。

一行はついに東へ向かう準備を始める。

そしてアレン救出に向かうリナリー。海上から山間部の上空へと移動するアクマの大群からかろうじて離れた二人だが、降り立った村には、白い巨大な物体が浮かんでいた・・・。

破壊された。それがきっかけで、ミランダが持つイノセンスの能力である「リカバリー」が
作動し始める。リカバリーは、ある場所の時間を最善の状態に戻すことができる能力だった。
破壊による衝撃に驚いたみんなが甲板に駆け付けたとき、閃光と共に爆発が起き
帆やマストが吹き飛ばされてしまう。やげて爆風がやみ煙が引くと、そこには今まで
誰も出会ったことがないアクマが立っていた。

第61話「沈む黒」
船に現れたアクマは、自分のことを「エシ」と名乗った。エシは攻撃を仕掛けた
ブックマンを軽くいなしてしまう。その強さを目の当たりにしたラビは、エシが
レベル3のアクマであることを見抜く。その後、ラビとブックマンの救援に駆け付けた
リナリーは二人からエシが強力なアクマだと聞かされたにも関わらず、一人でエシと
戦うと宣言する。更にリナリーはラビたちに船の中へ戻るよう指示する。
リナリーのことを心配するラビだったが、彼女から船が絶体絶命のピンチを迎えていると

ラビたちは、クロスがいるという江戸に向かっていた。
だが彼らが旅路を急いでいるにもかかわらず、レベル3のアクマ三体に追われてしまう。
それは日本に上陸したときに遭遇したアクマだった。ラビたちはそのアクマがあまりに強すぎるため
倒す事ができない。そこで、彼らは様々な技を繰り出してその隙にアクマから逃げようとする。

第68話「沈黙」
アレンはアジア支部に留まり、イノセンスを復活させるための修行をバクや支部の番人であるフォーと
一緒に続けていた。だが、イノセンスの状態は相変わらず粒子のままで固定化する気配がない。
そんなアレンの様子を目にしたアジア支部の職員たちは、イノセンスが本当に再生するのかと不信感を持ち始める。

レベル3のアクマがアジア支部に現れた。さっそくアレンはアクマを倒しに行くが、アクマの持つ
「物質分解能力」を用いた攻撃を受けてしまう。戦闘不能に陥ったアレンの様子を目にしたフォーは、
