Yhanks, now I have seen it...and in my opinion, playing this game in Japanese will be really boring. It's based on dialogue and there isn't a lot of action...

As the story advances and combines with a specific requirement (what "キャラ" means?) , a "full-voiced and event illustration" scene will occur. The site also mentions about about original development and shows the picture of Kanda vs Road.

キャラ = kyara = short form of kyarakutaa (character) = chara

Luckily I have a DS lite, but does anyone know when it's going to come out in the other countries like mine, Canada? Or has it already come out.....cause I really want to buy it!

it's only available in japan currently.. translating it would take quite a while and then releasing it even longer..

the comments at youtube said it was quite a mediocre game..

I bought it, since I couldn't wait for it to come out in english, even if it they say it's a mediocre game. But I can only understand a few things since my translation skills are poor, and I'm actually stuck so, : to everyone who wants to buy it in Japanese and they only know a minimal amount of Japanese, with very little Kanji skills, I don't suggest you buy it.

damn..the only thing i can read is the sound "a" ¬¬ they havnt doubbed the series and they dont make subtitled versions do they? so i doubt i will ever get to play it for a very long time...losts of time to buy a ds XD

grr the 30 second movie thing wouldnt load so i went on youtube and watched it there >.<
it looks cool! i love the idea of having to draw symbols to attack, i dont know why a load of people where spamming the video saying that it was stupid?!?

I don't think they have it dubbed or subbed for the game, and it will be a loooonnnng time till they do and distribute it to other countries. I agree! That's why I bought the game in the first place. I don't know if it will reach other countries until they dubbed D. Gray-man, which will be in either an extremely long time from now or never, depending on the popularity in Japan. I think D gray man is quite popular though, and I love it.

I edited the title of this thread to include all D.Gray-man video games. Anyway, here is a small camshot of the PS2 game:

It looks like the game will reach the Ark arc. Hopefully it will be better than the DS game. ^^

Komani has updated its website with more information about the game.

The game will be out on September this year and will include a drama CD. Based on the screenshots, it appears that the game is a rpg and maybe a visual novel as well (Someone who knows Japanese can clarify this info).

Welll, the screenshots are not very promising...I don't know a word of japanese and the fighting graphics don't seem to be very good...but anyway I'll give it a try cause it will cost nothing =)

I forgot to mention the title of the game: D.Gray-man: 奏者ノ資格 or according to babelfish: D.Gray-man: Player's Qualification (most likely: Musician's Qualification).
