Re: Does Ace have haki?
Ace, a logia who was a commander in the strongest man alive's pirate ship.
He was surpised by Blackbeard's attack that nullifies his power, yet received Sakazuki's blow through his chest.
Was that Ace's haki which was not strong enough to block Sakazuki? Or his choice of making his body into human to prevent Luffy getting killed?

HERE( 2nd post). I'll answer the rest of the post but this isn't even a topic for varied responses.
Ace being surprised by Blackbeard nullifying his attack has nothing to do with haki, but because he realised there was a devil fruit that could cancel out his mera mera no mi abilities and bring out his body by his opponent coming to contact with him.
His receiving Akainu's blow was a decision he made to protect Luffy( as allowing Akainu to go past him, would've cost Luffy his life), but also as we saw in their
earlier clash, Akainu's magma is a superior ability to Ace's fire and so even if he hadn't allowed himself to be struck, he would've( in my opinion) still been wounded and overpowered by his opponent.
