Okay from first appearance it's made clear that Urek can nerf his own Shinsoo to make himself impossibly weaker than what he is without said shinsoo like in the FOD so I've got basis for this theory.
But here I'm talking about his shinsoo..... quality? or potency? dunno what to call it.
First of all the design.
If you compare the look of his shinsoo in season 3 vs the spin-off, they're both on the yellow spectrum but season 3 looks like a faint bright yellow, like it's way too light to the point it's almost weightless.
While the spin-off looks almost like a holy sort of gold with "stars" in it and stuff and a much deeper golden hue.
It's not just artsyle polishing effect since Baam's cameo retained the same exact scheme and design bar for bar.
And then finally the behavior of his Shinsoo, kinda impossible to deny that they definitely behave very, VERY differently than what we've see before.
Leading me to believe that at some point Urek possibly permantly nerfed his own Shinsoo after learning to control it later on leading to this newer washed out quality we see in season 3.
