Well, in a way they used him, he was a means to an end to them. Where they themselves come from, however, is still kind of a mystery

What if Doflamingo was used by Trebol/Diamante/Pica/Vergo ? They could have seen potential in him, and used him since childhood.

Pfft, it seems that that scene was made by completely desaturating the original one and then by recoloring it in red - so there's no photoshopping the screenshots into revealing the original color of the eye.

I still prefer the more "natural" look I posted on page 1 I think, but yeah, not too far from what I had imagined, he's relatively normal, and I wouldn't have wanted anything besides that .

Let's hope we get a proper reveal soon.

To me, the fact that the eyes were not shown is the proof that Doflamingo will be shown again... and maybe not at his execution.

yeah, a while back doffy offered croc a partnership, but he didnt want to work as an underling. He was considered the underling because he had lost his empire. I think that doffy and croc will meet each other in the future, and because flamingo has now also lost his empire they will be considered equals. I'm guessing there's a probability the two will be teaming up in the future. Maybe Caesar will tag along?
