Well, I just thought since they gave it two covers and everything. Oh well, maybe it could still get an anime if it sells well. Look at Hatsukoi. It got canceled and got one. Then the story may even be expanded. That's been known to happen with some adaptations.

I doubt DA get an anime.

Mizuki Kawashita and her style are very famous since Ichigo 100%. She and her serie have a credibility more than Mx0, for example, even with Mx0 lived more than Hatsukoi.
Unfortunately, Naoshi is a nobody yet and DA is too short.... haya was more fast than me

My hopes are for DA go to another magazine.

Totally agree with you. I can totally see Kiri saying "MY FRIENDS ARE MY POWER" and zezu saying "Got it memorized?"

This is sad but we all knew it would happen. DA's style is simply to different to sourvive in a magazine like WSJ (where many mangaka try to create the next one piece or bleach).
Only a few unusual works souvive like Majin Tantei Nogami Neuro, Miyu to Rouji (I know it ended a loong time ago) or Sket Dance and thats most likely due to mere luck than to their outstanding quality.

It was a fun but short time and I really look forward to Komi Naoshi's next work.

DA's pacing was simply too slow. By the time it was ready to pick up, the publication lost interest. That's why you have to be interesting as fast as possible when you're a no-name.

i would deffinitely love this series to continue in another magazine, but guess it's all in how the story ends. if it just continues on as normal, it may have the chance of being serialized somewhere else. but if Komi does end the series on Thursday, he'll be working on something new... but we'll just have to wait and see

Komi Naoshi failed to get DA to work well enough to get support for one simple reason: This is his first proper work.
Prior to this he did one shots, and they were due to him being scouted before he'd even finished education IIRC. so he hasn't exactly done any of the normal things, like working as an assisstant to gain more experience. the fact he did this well is quite the testament to his skills eh

No, it's not neccesarily double arts that is being moved, just that come november's jump SQ issue, Komi Naoshi will be doing something in Jump SQ. the title is unconfirmed at this point i believe

That actually makes me feel a hell of a lot better about this whole thing. If he's just getting his feet wet, then we can probably expect great things from him in the future, and DA was one hell of a good first manga.

Even if its moved to a monthly thing, I'd like it if he kept pumping out other mangas to develop himself faster.
