Shiki's powers are cool. Thought he was a robot when he fell thru that table lol. Rebecca is some kind of idol maybe. She doesn't have that angst Lucy had, so far. She did look like Lucy at times, in the best way

The friend theme was laid on quite thick. It's not "Power of Friendship" though, he just activated his gear. The setup from the robots had some feels.

Well easy to guess that the girl in this drawing is the new Wendy only with more hair and blond guy just has a different hair style. But this also means that these two characters will be secondary main characters while the Erza look alike might be a villain or anti-villain.

I'm kind of getting myself overhyped with the space setting. I feel Mashima should let the crazy loose on this one and just go full on out there. He should totally do like a multiverse theory and have characters from previous works come in to help. Do it like how western comic books do it, and he could make a gold mine from it. I'm such a fan of crossovers between heroes, and I think Hiro could set up an interesting amount of things within an adventure through space.

I do like how these characters aren't OP to start off with. FT started with Aquarius and Natsu destroying a harbour and had to resort to plot armour half way through. The weaker the character the less disappointment

Yes. He doesn't have to be as expanse, but he has the groundwork to set up something similar in structure.

Shiki is actually stronger than Natsu from the initial introduction.

That punch completely decimated the block and the surroundung buildings and he held back as those robots were still his friends. Shiki is pretty OP from the jump, but I think this because Hiro can have a huge influx of big enemies because Rebecca and Shiki are not just bound to one planet or even solar system. I expect some huge spikes in power levels.

On another note I heard chapter 2 is going to have 52 pages so that's a plus.
