Yeah I hate Lucy while I love Rebecca but that could because Rebecca is similar to Elie and Shiki does need more character development but I still like more then Natsu.

He’s not because Shiki’s character design is just similar to Natsu’s.

It sounds from what that blue space goddess and Elcy Crimson is saying like Shikis backstory and Shiki himself is going to be very big and important for this world later in the story so i dont think we need to worry about him getting more development.
I hope it will continue to focus on him learning about humans and the way they live.

Rebecca is totally a fusion of Natsu and Lucy. She's book smart, spunky, big eater, got a little devious streak, and is pretty scrappy.

So Space Goddess knows who Shiki is? He will either bring carnage, and destruction or become a hero that changes the universe. Kind of interested to see if Mashima will make Shiki have a dark side. (Also I wonder if she is Shki's mom? )

Rebecca might not be a physical beast but she's a pretty damn good marksman. She was getting only headshots like a boss. She's pretty demonic when she fights as well.

Rebecca's and Happy's relationship was freaking adorable and sad. An orphan meets a small cat that becomes her best friend and then the little one gets its body destroyed in a vicious car accident. The cat then becomes a robot and is scared of Rebecca thinks of his new body, and Rebecca just doesn't care as long as her buddy is alive. That was a bittersweet moment and pretty emotional. This is what I love about manga even tho it can be cheesy it can have endearing moments and really show how the bonds of friends/family can really help get through rough times.

I believe these two pages were the highlight of the chapter.

Side note I'm glad Hiro can draw kids better then he did in FT (no more huge head on tiny bodies) bcs it makes the scene more realistic and thus more emotional as well.

Overall a really great chapter.

Yea like i said before people love to hate on the focus on friendship in mangas and animes but i love that Edens Zero, Fairy Tail and most other mangas and animes focus so much on the characters being great friends and like a family and that it focuses on how important friends and family is.
In my opinion its a very positive, nice and enjoyable message that makes me feel very good and smile and often makes me feel very emotional.
To me its wonderful and not cheesy at all and im happy that the Japanese seems to agree with me or else they would not focus on friendship so much in Japanese media.

I can't decide if I'm impressed or appalled by the blatantness and guts of Mashima to just name the Erza Scarlet reskin Elcy Crimson...

let's wait for her character to show.

I'm having lukewarm feelings about this. On one hand, I feel that he's being a bit lazy as a story writer in terms of repeating himself over and over. On the other hand, I'm sure he knows he'll be getting hate for that. In a way it takes guts to do that. Shows character.

So far so good I suppose. I like the setting - the different planets and space travel. It intrigues me. Happy's background story with Rebecca was quite sweet in my opinion. I wish that could have been done to my cat, when I was little.

I'll be following this for now and see what's it going to turn out like

He took many things from Rave Master and put it into Fairy Tail so seems like he just enjoy bringing over things both he and his fans really liked and enjoyed from his old series into his new ones and making new versions of them.
I love Happy and Erza and other things in Edens Zero that is from Fairy Tail so i like that we get to see more of them but in a new kind of way,
And yea they are similar in looks and other ways but they are still new and different characters.

Am just going to be honest with Happy being made into a robot. While it was sad and most people who have had pets can identify with it... after we had a whole town of robots in the first chapter to die off like nothing. I don’t know...... I mean Mashima said he would never bring back dead characters in fairy tail and look. Plus even in Rave Master look what he did.

...although I do find it intriguing if a lot of the robots turn out to be remade dead people...?

Next chapter probably see the guild, looking forward to maybe the blonde Gray- Laxus cross(?) since he’s in the foreground of the main picture promo picture along with Shicca.

I think the the 7/25 might be the date when the sequel and probably the Happy spin off come out since it was mentioned the sequel and Happy spin off were coming out soon. But there doesn’t seem to be a date for the anime besides the year but I think the anime will come out the same day as the City Hero spin off will. Also it seems there’s information about the sequel on and judging the 100 seen I think that confirms that the sequel will begin with the 100 Year Quest as the first arc or the sequel is about the 100 Year Quest.

stuff with Rebecca and Happy was sad.

how they met, how they became best friends, the accident etc.

Happy might be an actual character rather then a gag he was in FT

he can turn into two guns so he is useful.

that MASSSIVE Goddess looks so cool and badass

Rebecca's fighting style is interesting and I love her psychotic face.

I love Becca more than Lucy already.

Pretty good chapter once again.

This series is getting even better than Rave Master.

First the mysterious woman commenting on Shiki.It conforms my suspicion that i posted last week Shiki being a something genetically created for war.

Also her design for some reason reminds me of Slan from Berserk

Happy and Reebeca's friendship was nicely done.


And finally the character similar to Erza.She looks quite interesting.


Overall, pretty good chapter.

The only problem with this chapter is that we barely see the city, I hope that Mashima change that because if this show will have diferents planets it would be nice to explote them.
Rebecca so far is way better than Lucy, I hope she keep being like that, however I do think that her backstory with Happy felt really rushed, I would have liked to know them a litter better before this.
The Guild at the end worried me because that was a problem that FT had, I preferd them to be people without a guild behind them.

No, I meant twist with MC story. Like Natsu being END and Lucy's duty to keep time gate. I didn't compare twist from first chapter, sorry ^_^

That twist with Happy give me the feels mainly because I’m a cat person and hoping Elcy is villain and stays as a villain. Also is it me or does that guy with Elcy looks like Laxus?
