This was from 3 volume of fairy tail, but i don't know which chapter. I guess i have to re-read the 3rd volume to check out which one it is.

If i remember correctly, there were people saying that hiro mashima wanted to end fairy tail before even tenrou island arc. But he kept writing fairy tail, since it gain a huge fan base.

If that's true, then hiro might have wanted to draw eden's zero much earlier then this.

I just re-read volume 3, and it's in the end of the volume in chapter 22 of fairy tail. The chapter is called natsu vs erza, for those that want to check up on it.

I just re-read volume 3, and it's in the end of the volume in chapter 22 of fairy tail. The chapter is called natsu vs erza, for those that want to check up on it.

Mashima made mention of wanting to do a new series all the way back to the GMG and was going to publish it simultaneously with FT. Then he say that a naime already airing had very munch the same concept so he had to change it. So EZ has been on mashima mind for at least 4 year prior to FT conclusion. But within the first three volumes? Damn, no wonder he let his skill decline so munch. He wanted to write something else since near FT beginning.

Well, I'm glad he finally got to start the manga he's been wanting to do for years! Though apart of me wished he thought of Edens Zero before Fairy Tail xD It would've had a much larger fan base due to the timing/climate AND it wouldn't be held back by the stigma that is Fairy Tail right now.

But I'm also glad he's getting FT done so that he can focus on EZ! It's a fresh start! A new age! And hopefully, the more spiteful fans can see that Edens Zero isn't just "Fairy Tail 2.0: IN SPACE".

Then again... I rather not have most of FT's fandom jumping into EZ... They're the ones who seem to ruin the fun with their constant toxicity... The "LUL MUH POWER LEVELS!" fans and the "BUT MUH SHIPZ!" part of the fandom.

My gripping aside! I'm surprised he was planning this out so far back! Also, it's kinda sad how he basically said that "Happy was destined to be a robot". So does that mean he intended for Happy to die since he planned this manga? o.O;;

we have a reason why his writing slipped so munch during FT. He really never cared for it.

Not sure if it is to be a matter of concern because in its defence it might be said that this is a new series,but FT even during the last arc when it's sells were falling were in top 20 at least.This maybe connected to the plot of EZ which is borderline boring(my honest opinion) till now even though if generally avoids the faults of FT.It it has to increase and add more thriller if it has sell more.Yakusoku no Neverland since the first volume created a craze and had huge sells.EZ is failing in this very respect.

the promised neverland was a huge success it's kinda unfair to compare it with the new series from another magazine + its in shounen jump = more chances of success and TPN writing is really good and that's why it got really popular..E0 first volume is doing well more than 100k volume is really good even mashima said that the first volume is popular so i don't think we need to worry (for now).
i think the third volume would sell more..at the end a lot of manga didn't sell well hajime no ippo and it's still got more than 1000+ chapters so i'm sure E0 won't get cancelled if its failing

I bet that if EZ had not had special edition got in the top, Oricon came out with about 96k and the special edition would believe that it had about 10k copies sold, and more importantly, this ranking counts all September, the first volume came out on sale in mid-September (14 to be more exact)

And as data, since the first volume went on sale, in the ranking of Shosekiranking, has never been out of the top 300 to date, unlike Orient that I consider, is his rival in the magazine.

I do not know if to compare it with the Jump is correct and more with its last great jewel like TPN, but since we are looking at those parts, this series sells more than DR, Stone which is a series with a tour and very popular by a renowned writer and artist .

With FT in its latest volumes despite how terrible it was its end, it has a fairly large loyal audience, not for nothing is the third best-selling series in the magazine in history.

For me it's about what I expected, Hiro is a very popular mangaka and it's a matter of time before he improves much more EZ than personally, it seems to me the best start he has had compared to his other 2 big series.

Study pressures my friend so I am cutting down on the number of manga's that I read,I am only following those which are my favourites and which I enjoy the most.I will pick up in EZ in future no doubt.

Eh "hate" is not the right word here,when I drop a series is either when I don't "like" it or when I face time problems.

I am still thinking about the core. Clearly mashima will do some weird stuff with letters and numbers as he usually does. Such as 3173 being ellie and coordinates back in rave master or END being etherius natsu dragneel in FT. The chapter says CORD 3173 is the core, sister, but clearly cord is not the same as core. The most obvious thing that comes to my mind is that CORD 3173 is meant to form a name but more like CORDELIE... Alternative CORD could be an acronym as well but I have no idea of what it could be. If we assume all the clues we have mean there is a person inside the chamber then it makes sense to think of cryogenic sleep but that only means the C in CORD stands for cryogenic... But I don't have even the beginning of a guess of what the other letters could be. I'd guess it is some BS to make a cryogenic sleep chamber sound fancy. Of course in that case the meaning would be something like Elie's cryogenic organic resting dome or some shit....
