It's always good to see Mashima's drawing.

With the EZ anime coming out soon, it makes me wonder if it'll mark an uptake in the series popularity, or at least its relevance. Of course, I know there are a umber of people who just looked briefly at the manga and decided it was terrible without even reading it, or just read the first chapter, because of the similar designs to Fairy Tail, so I'm guessing those sorts of people may just dig in.

Yeah I remember!! One the page cover where there were all big vilains from his works...I remember there was Lucia(I hope it's his name from Rave master), Zeref (FT) and Ziggy (EZ)

It's more than stupidity at this level, but also a lot of bad faith.

To sum up those who do not speak French, the journalist says that mashima has always plagued Oda and does not hide it.

He gives as an example that the team is growing, as if it was OP who had invented this.

He travels from planet to planet instead of being island to island.

If you don't like it's fine but don't make it a standard to everyone else. It's actually a shame.
Mashima has editors and none of them said it's plagiarism but "you" "Mr coming from I don't know where who I doubt is or has never been a mangaka" judge it to be so.

Interesting other Mangakas who have done this style if not more don't hear this on them, but feel they try to say Mashima is only one with this art-style issues when the rest do have it.

I won't deny there are some similarities to One Piece, but that's really all they are: similarities. Aside from the characters all having completely different powers, and notably different personalities, the driving conflict and setting are significantly different as well. It's the same as those people who post how much they hate the series, and yet still continue to read it (perhaps they secretly like the series, but don't want to admit it).
Though for a little perspective (and this isn't a knock on either Oda or Mashima), over the course of all of One Piece's entire run, Mashima has started and completed two full length series, and depending how much longer EZ and/or OP go, it could be three.

The problem is that the journalist only sees one piece in it made no. Monsters a lot of video game, film put monsters in space. Especially since one piece is inspired by the island in treasure and marine legend. Mashima can do the same but not directly plagiarized one piece. The limit of the cosmos directly plagiarized one piece and yet another manga make boundaries between two worlds. The underwater city plagiarized from one piece instead of looking like Atlantis who suffered a cataclysm because of a precious object. Saying that the beach is useless while her watches that rebecca film for the first ti

One thing I have to wonder is how long this series will end up being. Even after we finish up with the Aoi Cosmos Saga, there is still a lot of ground to cover, in that there are still three Oracion Seis Galactica to go through, and I'm willing to bet that at least one of them will end up being antagonist. And there's still the matter of beating Ziggy, finding Mother, and the origins of Shiki and Rebecca, so I'm willing to guess EZ will be at least as long as Rave Master, possibly longer. Mashima is a pretty concise writer, though, so he can fit a lot into a little.

Also, I wonder if we'll ever see the Chronophage again.

It was a joke by someone on Twitter, but as people are want to do, a lot took it seriously. There's no real word on cancellation, and if it was being cancelled, you can expect that Mashima would probably have made the announcement himself.
