I really loved the first chapter.This space kind of setting and adventure reminds me of Cowboy Bebop.It seems to me they will travel to different planets like in Cowboy Bebop.

Shiki reminds me of Elie to be honest.Mysterious background,Aether power up and remains from dark ages reminds me of the setting of Soukyuu no Ariadne.Also the Panty shot reminded me of Haru peeking at Elie's panty.


Tokyo Ghoul Re is ending soon so this may become my replacement for it.Also this is nostalgic reminded me of Rave Master and early Fairy Tail.


Also about the POF,I really won't it count it as POF.Shiki was shocked on hearing those words so he couldn't resist.On unleashing his true power he immediately crushed them.Also Rebecca and the new Blue cat is also nice.

Im not loving this new story, I feel like i'm not interested maybe because FT have more priorities over this manga. First chapter was nice tho

Maybe the big plot twist will reveal that Shiki is some kind of android but besides that I wonder what’s Rebecca’s past will be like.

Well I’m leaning towards Shiki being an android or experiment because of the robots and that the fact it seems only very few people can use ether gear.

I wonder who it was..

Shiki was brought by the "demon king" 10 years ago, and we don't know where he found Shiki. Since then, the demon king is "dead"/broken.
Dragons in the space.. Ether gear, dark ages.. Shiki's power was given by the demon king..

I liked it tbh. The one thing FT very much lacked in the overall story was world exploration. I really wished we got out of Fiore an explored the other countries and figured out more of the lore by going to other places so I am happy that's what EZ seems like it's going to do.

Rebecca feels like if Natsu and Lucy had a kid they would act similar to her. She isn't stupid like Natsu but she is more energetic, and adventurous than Lucy.

Shiki social ineptitude seems like it's going to actually very funny when he meets newer people. I do hope we get to see his engineer side more as well bcs I hope we'll have a more tactical and resourceful MC.

One thing I have to note is that some people here said that there was PoF in this chapter, but there actually wasn't. PoF means that the MC got up after he got his butt kicked to beat the villain bcs he needs to protect his friends but Shiki was just outright strong from the go, and just didn't want to fight bcs they were his friends. I know it's Mashima but to scream PoF from the start without there actually being PoF seems like you guys just want jump on the hate train already.

Anyway I like this premise and it seems like this has promise.

I'm hoping that Rebecca's magic is technomagic. Creation and development of robots. That would make sense with your character, because she travels through space and maybe your ship needs repairs from time to time.

It's cool that Shiki knows how to repair anything that's machinery & Rebacca has a ship that hers to travel through space to distant planets so it does have the Cowboy Bebob feels but with more unique qualities.

Interesting start, but I'm still going to be cautious. I dropped Fairy Tail because of the constant BS, so hopefully this won't be a repeat situation.

There are some interesting concepts being tossed around that could make for some interesting events and reveals.

Ether, "Dragons", "Demons" all wrapped up in a robotic package. Could be fun if it doesn't turn into the nonsense nakama narrative that the previous series was.
