Given how many holes mashima has covered in the series so far. Making elsa come off as unstoppable and very similar toe rza only to lose to Shiki would be the ultimate avoidence of FT mistakes. (so long as his win is logical.)

Can someone explain me why they use words "planet and star" at the same time for one place? Like Granbel or that new place River Planet.

And this chapter was really good. Cute and cool. Story goes in interesting ways. Like receptionist... want to squeeze her Don't like Plue. Wanted him to be more important in the story, not like one of the race.

River planet sounds like it could be an ocean planet or a planet with a lot of water and since River Planet is dead does that mean the doctor is dead?

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing.. something happened to doctor. But I don't think he's dead, Hiro will not fool us again.. besides, it's just the 3rd chapter. By that promotional image, it seems that doctor will have some role in Eden's Zero. Killing him now would be a waste, as we don't know anything about him.

So it like looks like the Rebecca, Shiki, Happy, and the blond guy really are the main the main characters. Also the blond guy doesn’t look like Laxus like everyone thought he would though I wonder what the blond guy’s name will be.

Well I did look up the chapter title and apparently it’s a name so maybe it’s the name of the doctor.

My prediction is this.... Rebecca has been to the planet before but because be it's dead like Elsie stated,

Either nouma is dead and we get a backstory from Rebecca's pov

Or he's still alive and somehow survived on a dead planet and him sharing about who he is.

While I was putting parts the Korean translation into Japanese using Google Translate, the part where Rebecca describes the "wise doctor" as "와이즈 박사" (Waijeu bagsa) came out as "ワイズ博士" (Waizu-hakase). I think his name is literally Doctor Wise.

I'm no Korean-to-English translator, but I found something interesting. While I was putting parts the Korean translation into Japanese using Google Translate, the part where Rebecca describes the "wise doctor" as "와이즈 박사" (Waijeu bagsa) came out as "ワイズ博士" (Waizu-hakase). I think his name is literally Doctor Wise.

The doctor that fixed Happy would probably not be on that image with all the characters if he was dead and was not going to be part of the story for more than a few flashbacks so hes probably still alive and will help Shiki and the others during the series in different ways.
I hope he will be part of the crew they are building but he will probably just be a guy they go to when they need stuff fixed i guess.

Well im pretty sure it will turn out hes still alive later in the series but if he really is dead he will probably still be very important for the story and show up in plenty of flashbacks.

The design of the characters first made me think they were descendants from FT people

But it would make sense if they are like counterparts from parallel universes, like Edolas characters. For now the plot seems interesting, but even though it has some sci-fi it still gives me the same adventure vibe from Mashima's previous works.
