someone said it!! i'm afraid now that the manga won't be long maybe like 100 chapters or so...i hope not

This series will probably be just as long as most other popular long running shounen mangas.
Its not like it should have waited like a 100 chapters until Edens Zero was ever mentioned.
One Piece was talked about in the very first chapter i think and we still have not seen it and we dont know what it is yet.
Naruto mentioned that he wanted to be Hokage in the first chapter too and that did not happen until chapter 700.

I wonder how Rebecca and Shiki died but also at the same time is Edens Zero just a story being told from the future? I wonder if those androids or people are those guys in the promotion art wearing the white suits or not?

It might be a end game revelation given early by Mishima to show that the planet there on and the mystery of eden zero will play critical role in society later.

It also sounds like the end of shiki and Rebecca's travels.

Could be wrong tho.

Okay Mashima, I'm picking up what you're throwing down. I've read a lot of his stuff, but this is definitely a different start and narrative method than his usual fair.

For two characters to have the same name and both be main characters would be confusing.

It'd possible with 2 ways .

Jr. Added at the end of his or

The 4th 5th etc. But we didn't see that added to his name. So it's suspect

Its possible he made himself younger and wiped out his memory.

Or a accident occurred to make that happen?

Hope it continues onward towards a great series with hopefully little to no lows.

All of these series got lows or atlest moments that many people did not like but i really hope that Edens Zero will never have any of those really big hated moments that created all the hate for Fairy Tail like Natsu defating Sting and Rouge by himself, Erza defeating Minerva and Erza defeating Kyouka for example.
It was really frustrating for me to see people hating on Fairy Tail and mentioning moments like that every freaking week so i really hope people will be way more positive about Edens Zero.

I hope Mashima has also learned to not try to kill characters if he knows that he will probably be forced to bring them back shortly after because of angry Japanese fans.
Here in the west people love it when characters dies but the Japanese hates it.

Yeah I also think that the doctor made himself younger and lost his memories somehow but I question how the doctor made himself younger.

Good chapter, liking it so far. The time jump however was rather out of the blue... kind if as if Hiro intended scenes to jump like we see in movies and series sometimes. Hopefully the situation will get clarified soon.

-We already know something more about Ether, and it seems that being an existing energy in all beings, living or Machines
-Shiki is a bit smarter and a little more decent ... as far as it goes, since at least he asked if he could not sleep with Rebecca instead of going to the room
-The new world is interesting, since the rain falls like hard columns of Crystal.
- Apparently Rebecca and Happy make videos of everything that seems fun, and here Shiki shows something more common sense to understand why their videos almost always have problems.
-Shiki is a bad driver since I crash the ship, although Rebecca got a good video.
- It is explained more of the power of Shiki, it can reduce the weight of what it touches.
-Shiki does not know what Ether is but Happy makes a Simil with magic for those who do not handle science
-The Cities are underground
-Rebecca and the others arrive at the lab and notice that Doc has not reviewed the Mails.
-Shiki aside from being curious is something perverted, when putting on his glasses and noticing that he can see through the synthetic skin of Happy, he gets to see Rebecca
-A new character is presented as Weiz Steiner and so it looks Rebecca and Happy do not recognize him as he is a young man
-I jump in time of 20,000 years, where it is seen that two beings collect something in the remains of a place and rebel that are two human bodies
-They pray for them and find a cube similar to Rebecca and Happy with the word Edens Zero written on it and you see a world or moon broken into pieces in the background

It seems there might be some aspects of the Theory of Relativity here, since Rebecca did not recognize the boy as the Doctor in addition to that 20,000-year jump that causes curiosity

The next one will have 23 pages so it is possible that it is explained more and we know a little more about the Cube.

Not many series show MC's dying within a few chapters,that's a new start.

What if they live in all time at once? Like... they live in different time as they need. They come in guild when Lavilia was there. But they may come there even in 1000 years past or future. When Rebecca met Dr, she was in her real time, but now with Shiki she come to past. Maybe Shiki's gravity power can rules time itself?
So Ersy maybe met Shiki in the past (or some one else with the same ability order her to find him).

And that makes clear Ersy's words about dead planet.

Hiro good at adventure and mystery so this is right up his ally. I have high expectations for this series.

This chapter can be divided into two parts, the presentation of places and a new character, and the WTF with a look at the future 20,000 years later with the V cube with the title Edens Zero and a broken planet in the background.

I have two theories with two possible scenarios.

1. In one way or another they went to the planet Nouma, did not realize and ended up in a worm that left them in the past, we must take into account what Elcy said in the previous chapter, that this planet was already dead, that's why we see Professor Wise in a young way and without recognizing Rebecca and Happy, the topic here is like going back to the present and there would be the first arc of the series.

2. Actually nothing abnormal happened to enter the planet, everything happened as the chapter makes us believe, Elcy makes us believe this dead planet because he does not know that there is life underground, this character pretends to be Dr. Wise and calls himself as the one to know who are the ones who invaded his house, while the teacher arrives or something happened to him so that for nothing of the world they knew what happened to him.

I prefer more for the first, it would be a very good move on the part of Mashima to put a spatiotemporal problem so fast because it gives him a high stake for the development of the manga, since what was learned in the second chapter, not It will be so easy to get to Mother's location.

So far, the start of Edens Zero has attracted me more than Rave and Fairy Tail at the time, good move Mashima, I hope it remains constant

It was the fights that made everybody hate on Fairy Tail so its when fights against strong villains are starting that we will see if people are going to be hating on Edens Zero the same way or not.
I really hope that non of the fights in Edens Zero will turn out like the hated fights in Fairy Tail turned out.
Yea the fights in these mangas are cool and important but we are also supposed to like these mangas and animes because of the storys, the characters, the worlds, the comedy, the mysteries, the atmosphere and other stuff so the fights are supposed to be far from the only thing we use to decide if a series is good or not.

With many anime and manga fans the fights seriously seems to be the only reason why they follow these series and if they are not happy with the fights the entire thing turns into garbage.
Fairy Tail maybe does not have the best fights in all of these shounens but it got the story, characters, atmosphere and other things i love and enjoy the second most out of all he many series i have watched and read.

Even if everything else in Edens Zero is great people will still consider it a terrible series if people are not happy with the fights.

People wasn't happy with FT because not only the fights sucked, but also because the characters, the world and the story went downhill after a couple of arcs.
Let's not oversimplify everything just by saying that "people hate that becuase it is a popular thing to do" or "people dislikes that because it has bad fights".

About this chapter, like I said before, Mashima really should slow down a little, because he is just throwing things to the public way too fast. I would have actually liked to get to know that planet a bit more or to see the guys interacting like friends, after all Shiki's only "quirk" is that he really really want friends, so it would be nice to see them interacting as such.

Thats your opinion i think the story and the characters where great during almost the entire series.
Only felt like the story was being very rushed and could have been done way better at the end.

And the main thing that made everybody hate on Fairy Tail was the fights actually.
It was after the disapponting fights during the Grand Magic Games that the hate for the series started and the hate got bigger and bigger after every disapponting fight like that and it was the fights that was the big main thing you mostly saw people talk about when they hated on the series.
If Fairy Tail was the same but had better fights it would not have the hate it got.
And its not only with Fairy Tail i have seen with other series that if people are not happy with the fights or if there is too much time without any fights like on My Hero Academia for example the entire series turns bad so yea the fights is the only thing many people really seems to care about with series like this.

And i talked with plenty of people that hated on the series and many of them did not really know what they where talking about or why exactly Fairy Tail sucked so much.

Many people are just doing it because you are expected to do it and if you go against the crowd everybody will turn against you.

Yeah I know that, but not everybody loves every single aspect of that other series like you, that is why I said that people had other problems with that series.

I saw people disappointed because Mashima promised a lot of things and hyped a lot of things and those things never paid off when it comes to the resolution
That is a problem that not only afected fights because I remember a lot of people upset at the complete disappointment that were Raven Tail, or the dragon invasion or that "Levy of the Future" cliffhanger that never was resolved.
Mashima really has a problem that he likes to hype things up waaaay too much, right now in Eden´s Zero he is doing that again, with this cliffhanger he is puting himself again in the corner, so let's see how is he able to give a good resolution to this mistery.
