Off topic but, S8 just got axed. Its sad to see it get abruptly cancelled that way. People should have just been patient to see the greatness kishimoto was making before hating on it..oh well I guess that's it for the manga.

I don't like to compare, but it is inevitable when they are mangakas that their previous job was a world boom.

I think what Mashima beat Kishimoto in was building his world, the first 15 or 20 chapters of EZ are focused on showing us the world, while Kishimoto focused on developing Hachimaru and never explained his world (which I never liked it).

Mainly it seemed to me that the great problem of S8, of many that it had and added to the pressure of not selling almost anything and being in the Jump was a lousy result for what seemed the rival of EZ.

We will have to wait a long time to find the "competition".

Honestly want it to be around with Bleach's Burn The Witch too. Would like the authors of Big 4 competing in their new works as would be interesting before OP's author comes in his new work and compete with them as well.

The issue with Burn the Witch is that neither Tite was interested in serializing it and knowing that it belongs to the Bleach universe I would take it as a "Spin Off" I do not consider it a long-term series, just a series that is part of Bleach's xx anniversary.

Kubo would have to enter with a new story or new universe, but hey, I say that now and it may make it a long-running series, but I don't think so.

Plus given real life situation, some can't go outside to buy the volumes, so it affect sales on many series. Once this situation goes away, it increase more than before.

Sales for other series didn’t decrease in fact they pretty much stayed the same.
