So we have Weakscanor, Buffscanor, and RIPPEDASSHITscanor?
Best sin coming through.
Best sin coming through.
Zeldris was ordered to execute the vampires. Whatever he had to do to the rest of the vampires, he also had to do to Gelda. This again?
Well I just skimmed through the pages so yeah I didn't see his post. Well that explains it, however I don't understand did he seal her with the others as well? Wow he sure is "bad".
I'm starting to think that he doesn't even wear one.I mean if you compare his first appearance to now he is clearly taller and more muscular, so having an armor will be inconvenient because of the way he stretches. In some shots he looks more buffed than usual, so either he keeps growing larger or it's just Nakaba who is inconsistent in his drawings.Since he can be this tall, how does his armor fit him?
He wears baggy clothes as Weakscanor so when he becomes Buffscanor it fits him perfectly.Since he can be this tall, how does his armor fit him?
There is one fitting Diane's size but I doubt his armor changes size depending on his power.
I think Lola is referring to this, no?I'm starting to think that he doesn't even wear one.I mean if you compare his first appearance to now he is clearly taller and more muscular, so having an armor will be inconvenient because of the way he stretches. Yes Buffscanor is more buffed than that and taller, prolly taller than Ban.Either he could have a different armor or none, and we can pretty much forget about old escanor because there's no way he would remotely look like that at 40.I think Lola is referring to this, no?

Bask in my shinyness. Now that we know Escanor shoot sun rays, this picture from chapter 103 takes on a whole new meaning.
Escanor is emitting light/sun rays in chapter 103. The foreshadowing continues.

Lol wut?How can they say that? Vampires in the lore are weak to the sun, while I don't think it explains everything here, it should be clear that he's not a vampire by now.Bask in my shinyness.
I'm reading some other comments on other sites and apparently people still think Escanor is a vampire![]()
What's up with that?
Yeah it seems to me like they just copied someone else's theory, and now are desperate for it to be correct so they don't look dumb for copying it.Lol wut?How can they say that? Lol all I can think about in that panel is Mel's evil grinWhat's up with that?
I just noticed that in this panel he introduces himself as Escanor-sama![]()

Well she used Gowther's blackout, but now I'm starting to see the limits of having him participate in missions. No wonder King and Diane are afraid of him. Even without the full translation it is clear that he somehow becomes berserk as the sun reaches his peek. Also I think that's why he's more buffed in some panels that in others, and that could have to do with how the sun reaches his peek around noon. I can see him really being the sun personified. Let's not mention he's weak at night, so that makes him almost certainly useless if they were to attack at night. So stabilizing his day form would definitely be useful.Yeah it seems to me like they just copied someone else's theory, and now are desperate for it to be correct so they don't look dumb for copying it.
However, an interesting idea is born from this. Maybe after studying vampires, Merlin created something portable for Escanor to keep him under control. Like a ring or a belt that tricks his body into thinking its nighttime, or reduces his maximum strength during the time of day when he is the strongest. Could explain why we see a relatively smaller/normal Escanor with the sins when they are being framed.
Yeah and Escanor-sama. Lol. If someone that big told me to call them that, I would not hesistate one bit.![]()
. And even in his day form he seems happy to see her. That's why he didn't see Gowther behind him, but the Japanese guy who linked the pictures with the commentary said that Merlin was being tsun-tsun, so I guess we could deduce that she's not remotely interested in Escanor.
Yeah I don't know how confirmed this is, but apparently Escanor was writing a poem to Merlin thanking her because she was the only one that could help him/would help him with his curse/ability of the sun.Well she used Gowther's blackout, but now I'm starting to see the limits of having him participate in missions. Another interesting point for me was that Escanor defeated Izraf without even using his ST. And the vampires tried to rebel against the demons, Zeldris instead of exterminating them sealed them for Gelda's sake.So this could hint that the vampires were vassals to the demons in a way.

I see, that's how it is.Now that we know Escanor shoot sun rays, this picture from chapter 103 takes on a whole new meaning.

That doesn't appear to be the case. He was only getting buffer/stronger as the sun rose in the sky not older. Plus his night form looked just as young.I see, that's how it is.
Philosophical aspect.
As the sun cycles through the day, he ages more and more, going through various stages of aging each day in a cyclistic manner.
Old Escanor may be the very latest of Daytime, Sunset and turns young again afterwards.
That would be kinda annoying... Nakaba will have to pay very attention to Night/Day phase with his powers already, to see him changing like that everytime...I see, that's how it is.
"What walks on 4 legs in the morning, two legs in the afternoon and 3 in the evening"
That seems to be the motto (Not literally of course).
He makes a full cycle of aging through each and every single day, in theory, the cycle ending and beginning at Midnight which signals a new day and new "life".

Yeah, it's easier to imagine how these three will be able to face the Commandments. That doesn't appear to be the case. He was only getting buffer/stronger as the sun rose in the sky not older. Plus his night form looked just as young.
Anyone find it interesting how at least 3 of the Sins have stability problems with their powers? Especially when using them to the max. Meliodas in demon turns into some near mindless killer and he fears losing himself to it. Then there's Gowther whose powers eventually make him become to erratic without his armor seal. Now there's Escanor.
