Escanor with that god complex! Looking quite awesome. I'm already committed to the Arthur/Merlin ship for now, so I need to see a bit more from Escanor before I go with this. Besides, I think we've seen enough of that kind of love story from King and Diane.

Zeldris was the one who sealed Vampires and his brother did the same to him but if he sealed them 3000 years ago then their life expectancy is not 1000 years, or it depends on the Demon's strength maybe?

I think that they may be counting things like war and disease into their life expectancy.

For example, Elves in many fantasy series can live for over a thousand years, but due to violence and disease, they only live around 300 years on average.

Demons could possibly live forever, or at least 3,000+ years like Meliodas, but none ever make it that far because they get killed somehow. So when the 10 commandments mentioned they would have likely 3 times in the last 3,000 years, they were probably talking about death due to being killed, not just "we would die of old age in 1,000 years".

Perhaps they sealed the vampires out of fear that they will look to consume demon blood? Vampires feed on blood and we know what happens when demon blood is consumed. The vampires don't seem to be proper matchups for the seven deadly sins however it is entirely possible that they are powerful enough to take on GHKs or diamond holy knights at least. Add demon blood to that and you have quite a deadly combinations.

I am a bit confused? I don't think there is anything wrong about the chronology of the vampire sealing and the demon clan sealing they both occurred over roughly 3000 years ago right? That means the vampires were simply sealed prior to the sealing of demons that doesn't mean one clan lives for longer than X or Y. In this case it seems that when you are sealed off you don't particularly age, it seems more like a state of suspended animation of sorts at least.

I would argue that mel-elizabeth is a tad different from arthur/merlin. Elizabeth so far seems to be a reincarnation or something of a "liz" who has existed throughout most of meliodas' own existence. In her own way liz is about as ancient as meliodas himself, their love just might have transcended lifetimes, ages death. Arthur is just 16, plain and simple.

Reincarnated or not, in the here and now, she's 16. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Liz was 16 too when her and Mel were lovers. To me, it's the same.
