Perhaps but they did take over edinburg and should have had more than enough blood to drink. They did seem big enough of a threat that the sins were sent there (although that seems like overkill). The royalties are probably diamond/GHK rank.

Well, meliodas is technically marginally stronger than human sized diane. In that form diane has half her strength at 950 is at 960. If the weapon really is that heavy then diane should have about the same amount of trouble as meliodas. So it would make sense that strengthwise escanor is in between the two of them. We were told that diane's strength was the highest among the sins after all.
Escanor is stronger than Mel and human sized Diane.,because of how easily he lifts the axe. Nice.
No different than the ten commandments then just because their magic appears to be depleted doesn't mean they aren't capable of posing a threat, had Danafor been standing I think we would have expected a similar scene. Moreover, the vampire's innate ability is advantageous to themselves since as we saw with the first chapter they can easily overrun a kingdom once the chain of biting begins, as long as others are not able to sense it in time. Besides it doesn't sound as if the vampires were awake for very long at least based on the descriptions, since there is emphasis that the unsealing was relatively recent.

Also regarding his age, if he's 40 by now, he must have been 28 during these events. If he ages there is still hope to have his version from the poster, however he looks like he's 60-70 in that poster
Well, if its 3 forms it would make sense that he changes forms every 8 hours or so. So right now its supposed to be around 6 am considering they are saying its already morning. If that is the case then he should remain in this form at least until 2 pm. And then in his old form until 10 pm. It would mean his presumably weakest form is the one we will rarely see since he should usually sleep through it.
Doubt it since Gawain the character in the Arthurian legends who shares this trait with Escanor has only two forms. Also the evening is part of the night. His talk with Mel made it look like he only had another strong form. It is more likely that the poster is fake and it would make sense if it was since he is weak during the night so he could get caught. I don't think the posters served their purpose, who knows maybe Merlin manipulated whoever made them to protect some of the sins.Because frankly there was quite a few people who knew what Mel or Escy looked like and now we know she went as far as to retrieve Mel's treasure so she must have kept an eye on him, so why not Escanor who would need it the most imo because of his curse.
I am sure that you are wrong. In chapter 103 "A New Journey" we can see old Escanor. I will say it again: Vampire King might be responsible for current Escanor's apperance because he have an ability to manipulate space and time. He made him older. This is the most believable theory at the moment because it is impossible that Escanor might be that old after 2 (I think wanted posters were made just after Zaratras's death) years. Even after 12 years it is impossible to be that old through the natural process of aging.
But why go through such trouble? It's not like making him old would make him useless. He is a still a sin 10 years ago, if the purpose of making him age was to have revenge by impairing him then it didn't work because Escy wasn't out of commission or anything of the like, it would just be a cosmetic change. It would have been pretty much useless. Rather I believe that whoever made those posters wasn't really trying to catch the sins or someone posed as those two, Estarossa for Mel and that old dude for Escy. And if it turns out Merlin stole the memories from Mel then she could be able to invade someone's mind similar to Gowther, and it seems to me she could have wanted to protect Mel because he's the captain and he would have found the other sins, and escanor because of his weak form. But then it really depends on how useless he is in that form.
Could be but that would be redundant. But I think it's prolly the most logical explanation at this point.
In Arthurian legend, Escanor was supposed to get stronger until noon, and then get weaker as the day goes on.
So why Nakaba in chapter 103 gave us old Escanor? If anything, it would be perfect time to change him because this was a chapter when second arc started.
