I'm in awe at Chapter 31. The
Plane
Theory is confirmed, and we find out
who Enigma is (unless it's just a red herring)
.

Also
Enigma reveals that Shigeru has been using her talent since the start of the test.

Now I really can't wait for the next chapter and what happens after they get out!

Great chapter, things are really picking up again.

I'm kinda thinking it's a red herring. The impression I've been getting is that there's several people connected to Enigma, and I think he's just gonna be one of a group.

Chapter 31 was interesting.
Now I am 100% sure that Kijima is working for Enigma. Looks like he led Suuki Kei to where Sumio and the others are. I think that he (suuki) will be the "guest" related to the 7th password.
I am surprised however that Shigeru was using her power since the beginning. I did not see that coming
Looking forward to the next chapter.

Now i'm interested again! This chapter confused me a bit, because Sumio was behaving weirdly, but the rest was really interesting.I wonder what Enigma has planned for the last password.

Well Chapter 31 certainly seemed to confirm a lot of theories, and I think I finally have an idea of what Enigma wants out of those who complete the test:

It seems obvious that more people than just the kids at the school have talents, and so it;s possible that people may be using these abilities to commit crimes or cause huge incidents(possibly an organization). Perhaps Enigma's goal is to find people use can make good enough use of their talents and use them to possibly track down criminals who have talents(may be some sort of conspiracy behind it, but we'll have to wait and see).

Note how the teacher said in Takemaru;s backstory that he wanted to "nurture those students with talent" or something like that. It could be that who ever runs the school has been purposely gathering students who have talents, and have been secretly testing them for their potential. If it;s a once every couple of years sort of thing, it would probably mean that Sumio's mom was a student during the the first E-test(though that one seems like a given).

Of course we still don;t know exactly how the talents come into being per-se. It does sort of seem like something about the school may trigger their awakening since, outside of Sumio and Aru, everyone else seems to have awakened their;s in the school.

Chapter 32: Wow. That definitely had my heart going.

The former e-test participants turning into shadows was extremely disturbing. I didn't think that it would be quite that graphic.

It'd be interesting to see how the e-test plays out from here...
...and Yuta Kijima's involvement.

Man, talk about downer, the shadows were just playing with them until now. I really hope Sumio can save them before they transform into shadows too.

She really doesn't hold back in her storytelling.

It depends. If she adds too many plot twists, it will end up becoming a jumbled mess. But right now it's going really well. Every single chapter is entertaining, which is an amazing feat for a WSJ series. Bleach has one good chapter every month or two, and you can tell that Kubo doesn't care. Sakaki is trying her best to keep Enigma interesting so that it won't get cancelled, and you can tell.

I agree. Already nearing Aizen's defeat, Kubo used too many plot twists, so much to the point that all new developments became too predictable. The parts throughout the series that weren't predictable are where he pulls off a deus ex machina, which he does frequently. These gimmicks worked for him best at the first few parts of the series, but have since gotten old, and yet Kubo continues to use them post-Aizen's defeat 400+ chapters later.

After over 4 years of Bleach fandom, I'm feeling my interest in the series waning hard. To continue reading an extremely popular series, I might revert to reading One Piece and/or continuing Naruto. From what I've heard, while Oda seems to have planned well through 600+ chapters (and probably beyond), Kubo claims he doesn't even have an end in mind. I think this is what separates the great series from the legendary ones.

With all that in mind, I can't see Enigma surviving as-is on a continuous string of plot twists. The plot structure will have to change drastically for the series to work out, or else get canceled. I hope Sakaki's past experience as an assistant to Reborn author Amano pulls her through.

Well it seems obvious that the plot structure for the series is going to change soon. It;s only the introduction arc after all. We'll probably get some changes as soon as this arc ends.

Having read the translation for the latest chapter, it looks like you're right. :)

The real twist is where the manga series will go from here: Will it continue to be planned out or will it then be improvised and forced out?
