Because he absorbed them as I said? If decrees raise PL instantly like that, then what was Galan's PL without one? You still haven't answered. If you think about it, you realize that it doesn't make sense at all.
1k? if we pretend that the decrees raise the PL that is the power of galan, although it could also be that the demon king only chose the ones he believed most apt to carry the decrees and galand was most capable of carrying the truth.
That's not what Dolor said to Diane. Anyway, I am talking about Galan.

What I'm trying to say is that by Dolor joining the Demon clan and receiving a commandment he was given a powerup. You argue that commandents don't give powerups but so far from what we've seen that's what they've done, plus we haven't seen anyone's powerlevel after they've lost one so its literally just speculation.

Galan, a good fighter and High-Class Demon, had a PL of 1K, which is comparable to a Red Demon. And way below Fraudrin, the one mocked because he is not at the level of the other Commandments despite his 30K? You see the problem with that theory? And with the 1 Commandment = 28K, that makes Galan's PL= -1000.

As I said, this is another matter. If you believe they do enhance people like that then you should be able to talk about Galan too. For Dolor, if he powered up, it would not be because of an absorption, more because the PoD in it enhanced his power a bit. There is no way it made him so strong that he got 20K+ Even without Commandments, Dolor and Gloxinia were much stronger than Karmadios, we saw it in the flashback.
We know their PL from the fanbooks. And his PL at different states are known in the manga, he is also a Demon unlike the others so he is perfect for this.

Well maybe and only maybe the DK reanimated an armor with the darkness and gave him the decree and thus was born galan?, the decrees should raise the PL because that is what they were originally before the demon king added the effects of them.

Or maybe you are wrong and they don't raise PLs unless when absorbed? Because it's never actually been said that they do when they are not absorbed.
Commandments are supposed to be elite soldiers. Choosing someone with a low PL doesn't make sense. Even Fraudrin with his 30K was considered unworthy, and he was loyal. But for some reason, the DK animated an armor and guessed that it would turn into a great fighter? Then why not give it to Fraudrin and have a 50K+ fighter? There are other Low Class Demons with PLs much higher than 1000 too, Gray Demons for example.
Is that your argument? I don't think I understand that analogy well in the first place. But Commandments don't exist to raise the PLs of the holders, they are kept by elite fighters and have special curses. When absorbed, these curses disappear and are converted into pure power.
The Demon King animating an armor and making it that strong(Galan is not even one of the strongest Commandments) when he had better choices like Fraudrin, the Black Knights and probably more would make of him an idiot.

for him to activate a commandment you have to absorb it, because if it were not so, I would have activated the commandment of gowther who was in possession of zeldris which until now, has not been activated.
I remember back when Zeldris gave his decree to Meliodas. He asked him if he would be fine fighting the AA without a decree, implying that they grant to the holder some kind of power boost and not only a curse (this wouldn't make sense because the AA have protection against that).

And I explained why it doesn't make sense. Zeldris hadn't absorbed the Commandments, they were stored thanks to a spell. If you think that he had absorbed them, so how high was his PL? Because he had Selflessness, Repose and Patience. His appearance was still normal, you are saying that Zeldris had a PL above 100K? Even when we know his PL is 61K? Or 61K with 2 Commandments? Since he had retrieved Repose and Patience recently. It doesn't make sense.

Potentially, Zeldris ''last resort'' or a part of his powers could be to absorb the commandment for a power boost if he needs it.
And considering how the Archangels are very powerful opponnents, equal to Zeldris or perhaps even stronger, taking away a option for a power boost in a fight isn't good lol
Or Nakaba made a mistake here, since the Archangels weren't confirmed to have divine protection yet from the commandments, hence this statement.

As for the commandments.
It's clear that you don't get an increase of PL from them if you are merely holding them for the curse ability.
Estarossa was holding 3 commandments on him, but he never changed PL UNTIL he actively absorbed them.
If holding a commandment gives a curse ability + PL boost then why absorb them? You'd get the same effect but lose the curse ability.. so it's clear that absorbing them is the only way to get PL from them and lose the curse ability in the process.

Because Zeldris was not going to fight the Archangels only, the Sins and others were coming. Piety is hax, it triggers once you turn your back to him. Stigma picked members carefully because they are assuming that Zeldris still has it.
Decree's only matter if they are absorbed into the body. If they aren't absorbed then they are literally just being held. This is why Zeldris didn't go insane from holding three other decrees without using the absorption process.
Drole got more power because he was effectively given the power of darkness, which naturally would've boosted his overall defense and other abilities. However, Nakaba seemed to forget that he and glox had darkness because they are never seen using it again even though he purposely drew their eyes black

I don't think it would've done much tbh since they seemed to only have been able to manipulate darkness physically. They werent able to use its its biological advantages, considering Drole was heavily injured and basically spent the whole fight buying time for Gloxinia to recharge drop of life. Simply using darkness to heal would've mitigated all of that effort. Seems they could only use darkness to create constructs, which probably would've just been useless since their own offensive abilities are much more powerful.

His dance was hyped to hell and back and Nakaba didn't even allow him to use it at any time. If the increase is as drastic as it was with Diane, he should've been able to face off against Chandler with no problem.
And then there's Gloxinia who not only had 4 more Basquias Techniques to show, but had Disaster which should've been significantly more effective than what King showed, given that his magic stat is the highest one in the series. Why didn't he use his Form 2 Necrosis and that fabled Disaster ability to increase the toxic effects of the poison?
