Anyone who believed that Old Oracion 6 had a chance against Faris' demons is truly deluded.

The way Hiro constructed this chapter makes it clear that Mashima will use them as ladders for the demons. It became obvious.

And I feel like Gate seems to be the most relevant demon among the new ones (excluding Zero), since he's facing Meredy (she was emphasized by Hiro).

New O6 vs Old O6 will be off-screen, and we know the way Hiro works this type of fight. It's a shame that Meredy came back in a fight she can't win, due to the narrative not allowing it.

But happy that Gate will face her in combat. His Design is the best among the demons, and he conveys more authority than any of Faris' demons.
