This chapter is a huge L for Laxus as it seems that he won't get a solo W. And just like i said, Laxu won't get any upscale, JELLAL AGENDA FTW

And don't get it wrong, Mira feat against Scissor Runner just means that he is a bum like Anchor, and talking about Anchor i wonder if there will be another team fight with Gray and Lucy vs Earthbuild and Anchor. This would restrict current Lucy scaling a lot, just like this team fight is restricting Laxus.

Other thing, yes it was Mira who throwed Scissor Runner, but i did not see scratches and the offscreen fight should have included Elfman, Angel and Hoteye contribution. Mira was obviously the MVP but there is no reason to assume she fought alone

this chapter is like if Lucy got in the middle of King Fire form Natsu vs Ignia

I wish shipping was the issue here—the real problem is Elfman. I'll be seriously bummed if he pulls a brand new form out of nowhere while Mira and Laxus still haven't gotten anything new since Alvarez. Elfman's already shown three new Take Overs in 100 Years Quest, yet absolutely nothing for the couple of the moment.

Mirajane has dragon power though. She recieved the same power boost as everyone else via Wendy dragon enchantment. Not only did it grant the group dragon slayer magic but also boosted everyone's magical energy.

For those who don’t know, there’s a page missing in the English version. It’s Elfman asking Angel and Richard for help but they said they’re useless. And Scissor Runner sent Laxus and Mira some slashing attacks.

Wow, another reason to hate this chapter. So both will not do anything in this battle.....I really hate Mashima for this. Whats the reason to return them? -.-

Imo it's like with Acnologia, back during the Alvarez Arc where Erza used her sword to push his body on the ice ship.

It's not a real feat especially because it was offscreen.

Erza has an arsenal and red pants is usually portrayed as her strongest armor. Laxus don't have this excuse

I know what you meant. I am just saying it wasn't just her demon power that allowed her to do it. It was the magical boost everyone recieved that allowed her to toss Scissor Runner. You said it as though Mirajane didn't get a power boost and was something she did with her own power. You brought up others being boosted as though Mirajane wasn't also boosted.

At least Levia and Scissor Runner are in dragon form unlike the one who chose to stay in human form in order to getting defeated

Laxus hasn't been around for years, and his first moment is a "shipping moment" and fight against an opponent with hax abilities. Aside from Jura, has this guy ever fought someone without being at a disadvantage?

I have no issue with Mirajane; she deserves the power-up or feat. I’m just fed up with Laxus constantly getting nerfed by things like his magic failing to work or his power being stolen or him getting poisoned become recurring concept of his fights.

I’m hoping after Elfman has his moment he goes into the background for a bit and lets Mirajane and Laxus do their thing because in no way should he be able to take out two full dragons himself.

I found it odd Mirajane encouraging Elfman to use a full body take over to that extent considering last time he smacked Lisanna all the way to Edolas when he tried to over extend himself like that lol
