This is a thread for similarities or references between FT and Rave Master, because I couldn't find any.

Same situation: Haru and Elie were searching for Elie's memory because she had amnesia, the 4 other rave stones because they needed to destroy a threat known as Darkbring, then later were forced to fight someone from a bloodline that turned back time and created an alternate universe, only to have the second person kill the first then the first person be revived later on in an epilogue.
Natsu and Lucy met because she was being abducted (and hey look she doesn't have amnesia), became friends, beat up a ton of dark guilds centred around reviving this one guy, and now are fighting an army controlled by that person, who's trying to get his hands on an infinite magic source to get rid of a dragon he met 400 years ago. Oh yeah, and one of them's a demon.

Same plot: Basically what I just said above ^

Same future happenings: Ok I seriously doubt Zeref is going to... uh... absorb Natsu, leaving Lucy the only one to destroy him, then Natsu's gonna be trapped inside and Lucy is the only one who can destroy Zeref, like, at all (please if you need a celestial mage Yukino could, duh), Natsu's going to die and then get saved one year later by stars. And besides, Mashima said the ending was going to be different anyway.

Natsu will be absorbed by ENDLESS END in the Future.

Even if that does happen, he'll do it to get rid of Zeref because that's his job.
And if he does lose control of it, it'll be after he defeats Zeref, therefore killing him.

I doubt Zeref will be killed.I Think Natsu will be turned to END Lucy will rescue Natsu turn back to Normal like Elie saved Haru.

Whats wrong with juvia's dying ? I can see her protecting gray from End and it would be a massive character devloppement for gray

Well because Gray is basically Musica's counterpart, Juvia could be considered Reina's.

Parallel between Haru/Elie & Lucy/Natsu.
Hi guys! Here is another theory between the two series that are bound to our one true troll of the series, Mashima Hiro!
Alright to start:
Haru = Spring and Natsu = Summer.
Elie = God and Lucy = Light
The boys names are similar to seasons; by the seasons, they also portray on their alter personalities. Haru is someone who is softhearted and true to himself, he protects others that he cares for and tries to save everyone. He isn’t easily overwhelmed with power. Natsu is a bit childish, he loves a good fight and loves to be with his friends, he is also rambunctious but he has a caring heart for his friends.
The girls names represent power, they are an enlightenment but also carry a dangerous factor behind the eyes. Elie is pretty scatterbrained and usually never gets angered unless provoked. But she has that sort of carefree personality that touches everyone. Lucy is a smart and generous girl, she’s not too strict but she has her moments when she can relax and have a good time.
Haru/Lucy: These two are parallel for a good reason. They are the MAIN CHARACTERS. The stories focus on whats happening around these two. They are also the actual Hero/Heroine that enlightens the second main character. Haru has countless saved Elie and even proclaimed his love for Elie, he sacrificed his life in order to protect/save Elie. Lucy is usually there for Natsu, they are joined to the hip usually, they have yet to discover their feelings. We know that Lucy deeply has an affection toward Natsu and would protect him at all cost.
Haru carries the RAVE, which is a sword containing ‘light’ aka the Ten Commandments. The story circulates on the holy section on both the sword and Elie’s name. Biblical speaking is all. Haru is the savior along those lines which lets him the person to save Elie.
Lucy carries her keys which are the Twelve Zodiac Keys, they strung toward the astrological feelings of enlightenment. Her keys represent the horoscope which partake on the mysteries of past, present, and future. She is more like a Goddess that structures around time and fate. Natsu who is the the dealt of END and is thrown from past to present to future, she is pretty much the one to turn the tables.
Elie/Natsu: These two are parallel for a good and bad reason. Though they are second toward main character they have a strong terrible fate that ends in misfortune. They aren’t exactly the ‘Damsel in Distress’, more around the lines of destruction and misery. Elie has been saved by Haru but she has also saved him, the moment they meet she had memory loss. Deep down she carried destruction where the world could end and power that causes distress. Natsu is there for Lucy and cares deeply for her but also contains the loss of separated memories as well as being resurrected as END by his own brother.
Elie who is technically Resha, lived for more then 50 years with the use of her magic to conceal her identity as well as deserting those she loves in order to protect the world from her power. Her power has both fortune and misfortune if not correctly used. And she dealt with a lot of pain and hardship on the way.
Natsu who was born over 400 years ago came to the future with no memory of who he was and what he was. He was soon raised by Igneel and became a lively child, of course now in the ‘Fairy Tail Guild’, he’s a bit of a childish teenager, but he has his sweet moments. Though he tries to get stronger along the way so his family isn’t tormented, he protects those that he loves even if it is a sacrifice.
Though I’ve explained the whole mishap, Lucy, who is the parallel of Haru, will sacrifice herself to save Natsu just at the matter that Haru sacrificed himself in order to save Elie.

I think Natsu being E.N.D. is also a parallel to Elie being Etherion, and of course Lucy's ten celestial keys are like the Ten Commandments sword. I also wonder if Erza and Wendy vs. Irene will be a parallel to Julia and Belnika vs. Jiero.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Natsu's memories of Lucy and the rest of Fairy Tail are forgotten temporarily. That, or he'll develop some sort of alternate personality.

Aside from the ones you mentioned, those are all I can think of.

Lastly, I think all of this is an indicator that we are approaching the climax of the overall story.

Just fix those. Erza and Wendy vs Irene is a parallel to Julia and Belnika vs Jiero and I remember Niebel also helped Julia and Belnika fight Jiero so maybe Jellal will help Erza and Wendy fight Irene.

It's possible... or Romeo will show up. (lol jk)

I wonder if Sieghart's fight with Haja isn't going to be paralleled. I was assuming that was how Jellal vs. August was going to go.

I think the fight with Acnologia will have to do with the Eclipse Gate and Natsu might get trapped inside of it after the battle... but then he'll break out a year later.
