Ther kinda did Avatar in the last game, but without Avatar. (It's completly different arc, but the game ends with reunited FT after 1 year timeskip). So it's probably only Albareth. But it probably will be different from manga version--there is a scene of Erza and Wendy fighting Serena, I don't recall such battle in the manga.

Also, you have added trailer in Japanese, but just to be accurate, the game is fully translated into English.

I really hope that there will be additions, because if there is just Alvarez it will be very short story-wise.

Translate into French (subtitle) too, like the 1st XD.

What exactly is the new combat style?

I enjoyed the last game a lot but I’m curious to the new style of combat in this since I’m not hugely versed in Japanese games other than the first game.

In the previous game there was a battle mechanic when you could just attack with everyone by clicking button very fast. I didn't use it as it made already easy game even easier. But I have only player the story, maybe it's better post game.

As much as I want to be happy they recycled 90% of her moveset and models from the last game unfortunately

Just started the new one. Play similar to Honkai Star Rail.

There are somw changes to the story, but I just wanted to share two changes I really liked, and wished they would happen in the manga too.
- Gildarts showed up to defeat Serena, but later went to defeat Neinhart, knowing this would make other Historias disappear. It's a nice change, that show that Fairy Tail actually have some strategic mindset, and can use the information to gain some upper hand.
- While Strausses still fight Jacob and Ajeel, they do not defeat them completly, instead Mirajane convinces them to stop fighting and they leave. It's a nice change as Ajeel's defeat by Elfman and Lisanna is... pretty unbelivable.

Got this Fairy Tail 2 for my birthday yesterday

I just wonder for the fights is there always a main character to choose for each attack to throw ? I'm just at the beginning so I'm confused.

But I regret that there is not no-FT members playable like in the first game, their magic is more interesting and complex than some FT members, especially for Jellal Kagura and Ichiya, I liked their moves set.

Jellal, Mavis, and Zeref are confirmed as playable DLC characters

I wish we would get a game like Naruto Storm Versionsnummer as for Fairy tail with epic boss battles and so. You can see that they barely put effort into this game, it is what it is, but still I wish we would see a better game for Fairy tail.

Game is solid, not good not terrible.
