For even the flaws of FT the majority of plot points have been really been taken care of, which I can't say the same about Bleach . The remainder on the list are basically small stuff or unimportant. I think Wally/Richard would be next!
Well, as far as I can tell mashima got most of this stuff covered. There are a few disappointing developments but still,
We figured out the lacarde bit. Turns out he wasn't even the son. Boring overall.
Grey's trump card... Iced shell. Too bad mashima made him into the stupidest character in manga. Kid had potential but he just keeps trying to ice shell himself only to have other characters remind him he actually has plot immunity.
God serena was a waste. Had one of the more hax magics around and yet he was one shot by acknologia and then we saw a weaker version fight gildarts.
As for the wizard saints... I think there basically weren't any more of them. Makarov wasn't a member by the alvarez arc, jose got removed, gerard lost his position. Which would leave one spot left.
I still have hope ankseram will be a thing. I feel we are owned an explanation about his curse given that, well, the manga orbits around it.
One magic is love. It's the source of nakama powerups. This has been long settled. Case closed.
Acknologia's origin... we might still get this but who knows... Overall, I completely forgot mashima hadn't developed him. At this point I care about this as much as I care about grey's eleven billionth ice shell.
Natsu's book... This is one of the bigger disappointments in the manga. We all had the expectation end would be an actual enemy to ft but it turned out it was just plain old natsu. Nothing else.
Zeref's true goal.... we kinda already know this. And frankly, we were better off not knowing.
I do like Larcade > August when it comes to Zeref's son but being a prototype body of Natsu made sense while not being crazy exciting. 436 showed all these opened cocoons when you saw Zeref greeting Natsu. One of those were Larcade's.

It was said after that disbandment of FT that all 10 Wizard Saints came together to reform the council. So they all reformed once again. Jose and Jellal (Siegrain at the time) were already out by their reformation. Leaves you with in order: God Serena-Hyberion-Wolfheim-Warrod-Jura-#6-#7-#8-#9-Makarov. So we have 4 that aren't uncovered.
Same but don't be too hopeful. Hiro said in that France interview 2016 summer that he wasn't going to crazily expand on him. Just a good way to tie in the problems of Zeref as the primary antagonist of FT with his backstory.

We do know of his origin. Dragon Cry in the end credits delved upon. The main female character, Sonya, family and village were murdered by dragons that almost killed her, one of them being Animus who used her body to travel to the future. Acnologia was enraged from seeing this and then went on to murk all of the dragons in front of him with Animus barely living (why he used Sonya's body as a container). Acnologia then approached Sonya saying that he's sorry for not being able to save her and looked to murder every dragon in existence for her sake, however at the end of the flashback he called that story "nonsense" which to me points to him not caring about that motivation anymore. It's nothing special or great even but having some type of primary motivation for a destruction type of villain is somewhat welcomed.

I'm hip, I feel the same. Natsu was always a special case among etherious in which he and his book were separate unlike other etherious. Life bonding makes sense but it was more just his history and how his life can be simply rewritten. END was always Natsu but him not using his full on powers (at least not yet) lowkey is lame not to see
Yeah it was Neo Eclipse. I feel like the magic itself is the embodiment of Zeref himself, I did like what his final plan was. No idea why he was wasting time with Natsu instead stepping through the door. Easy answer is plot
So Acnologia wanted to slay all dragons from his family being murdered, city, and Sonya. Probably all we'll get of his origin so guess I'm fine with it

@Doughboy can you update this tread since Aquarius’s Key is somewhere in Gilina and Invel or Neinhart was possibly the spriggan who invaded Ishgar in X781.
