oh I didn't know that.

I didn't read the entire Avatar arc at all.

just when Bluenote got one shotted and that Crust "God".

it was a sad moment when Bluenote got flashback when he was a top tier. then in the next panel he got third-degree burns. I cried tears of sadness :biblethump
Yah Orochi Fin was taking advantage of the fact that Jura wasn't at Lamia Scale. Bluenote probably got super rusty considering his fight on Tenrou was 8 years ago. Jura has better feats than him anyway.

Rip Bluenote. His glory days fighting on par with Gildarts will never be forgotten :verily

There's no reason at all to assume Bluenote got weaker.

Jura is above Bluenote.

not KO'ed by God Serena's off paneled attacks and barrage of DS attacks >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Natsu's base or FDK roar against Bluenote in which he got third-degree burns :yodawg

hard to tell which one was it.
Even if Jura is technically stronger, they are on the same level. GMG Jura and Tenrou Bluenote would have been very close in power level. We don't know if Jura has improved that much over the timeskip.

The roar was in base. If it was FDK, it probably would have been named. FDK roar was also a lot larger.

I think Bluenote is more durable than Jura, or at least GMG Jura. Bluenote took Gildarts punches like a champ (sans Empyrean), while Jura/Laxus took on more damage from their own punches. Gildarts hits at least as hard as them.

I'd say Jura is a better fighter overall though, and improved from the GMG since he didn't look out of place next to the GOI. His MP is below theirs though.

Bluenote will be near GMG Jura. But that poemwerlevel is not Top Tier anymore.

But yeah if he and Neinhart wrestles then Bluenote will win.

8 years is a lot of time. If Bluenote was in his prime back on Tenrou then it's very much possible that he got weaker over 8 years. Yes Ik it's not confirmed that he did, but you can't rule out that possibility completely.

So? Even if you assume Gildarts didnt train to get stronger like the rest of FT. Gildarts was still brutally injured when he fought Bluenote on Tenrou, 3-4 months is a lot of recovery time. The fact that Natsu could casually beat Bluenote with one attack and Gildarts couldnt is more than enough evidence to prove Natsu is stronger than Gildarts was back then.

Except you are just guessing that Natsu couldnt walk, and you are doing it in spite of seeing him doing something even more difficult. Hell, even Tenrou Natsu could sprint at Bluenote before he got knocked on his ass
Gildarts had his magic stripped away during the fight. He then proceeded to break his strongest spell and blitz stomp him with Empyrean.

Natsu isn't faster than Gildarts

So? Gildarts should have oneshotted him straight up, no headbutting or matching punches. It took Natsu one shot to beat Bluenote. If Gildarts was at that level he'd do the same.

Did i say Natsu was faster than Gildarts?

Jellal spent some time in jail during the 7 year, and he didn't regress. I don't see any other characters who have grown weaker over the time-skips either. The whole point of Bluenote was to show how strong Natsu got over the timeskip, and having Bluenote be weaker would be counterproductive to that point. Especially since we're probably never going to see him again, and Hiro didn't go out of his way to mention he got weaker. It's an odd point to argue.

Hiro isn't going to introduce a character and have him be one shotted the panel afterward. That's not how manga work, use common sense for once.

You said current Natsu is stronger than Gildarts in the past.

Natsu can walk. If you can stand, and hold Sherria up, you can walk. He could dance if he wanted to, moonwalk if he has the skills.
Natsu was about to fall, that's the point. He needed to use his fire to push himself up. Look at the panel, he was about to fall but he reached fast enough to get out.

Get over it, Natsu ain't walking in bluenotestinger gravity.

You just assume everyone is in their prime to fit your argument.

August is a million years old, is he in his prime? No.

Jellal was only in prison for the first year of the seven year timeskip. He had six years to train and get stronger. He's younger than Bluenote so he has a higher chance of getting stronger than someone who was potentially past his prime.

I'm not saying this to discredit Natsu's feat. Yes Bluenote might of stayed the same or got even stronger, but you can't completely rule out that he might have gotten weaker. People past their prime get weaker/rusty if they don't train or do anything for a long period of time. This should be common knowledge.

You just assume everyone is in their prime to fit your argument. Get out of the forum please.

Notice how I said "If". IF he was in his prime. I didn't assume anything. Also, "get out of the forum". That's a bit harsh just cuz you don't agree with my hypothetical scenario Ally.

Sure, the gravity affects Natsu, why wouldnt it? Natsu was in its area of affect. The question is how much does it affect Natsu? The answer of course being barely at all, to the point where its barely noticeable. So yeah, i did see the lines around Natsu that shows he is affected by Bluenote's gravity, i simply acknowledge the fact that it really only affects him about as much as Natsu's FD roar affected Bluenote on Tenrou. You know, this one.
You see how the fire is affecting Bluenote right there? Yeah well thats a rough equivalent to how much Bluenote's gravity affected current Natsu in their fight.

Yeah, they can, every top tier can beat Bluenote with ease, the only top tier you could argue couldnt is Neinhart, and even he easily does by summoning Hades to low diff him.
Every other spriggan has an even easier time,
Good guy top tiers like DF Gajeel, Laxus, Gray, Jellal all oneshot him casually because they are all on base Natsu's level or above.
Even Makarov destroys him in Titan mode.
Mira's MP is comparable to Makarov so she easily laughs off gravity too.
The simple fact that Erza can tangle with Azir and survive, means that she can easily walk through Bluenote's gravity unhindered. She doesnt need any sort of counter, she can simply overpower him with pure strength and slaughter him in CQC.

Besides, the only people Bluenotes gravity has an affect on is fodders he is way stronger than, people close to his level like Gildarts was can laugh off his gravity with ease. All FT top tier>Tenrou Gildarts so they can all walk freely under Bluenote's gravity.
Tenrojima Gildarts solos the current Fairy tail guild. Obviously not all at once but in a 1v1.

Natsu chose that option, because it was one option...

If Stinger's gravity was so hot, Natsu would be eating dirt like on Tenrou. That's basically all there is to it.

Just so people don't get confused, I'm not saying that Bluenote is indeed past his prime. This is why I've been using words like "probably", "potentially", and "if". I'm just speaking hypothetically here.

You've lost your mind, have a lie down or something. If Tenrou Gildarts could solo even base Natsu, he would have oneshot Bluenote the moment he got between him and Kana.

Bluenote wasn't in prison though.

It's a possibility her got weaker, but for me to endorse the position there's got to be a pretty good reason. For me, it's a lot simpler to say he remained more or less on the same level, and everyone else simply got stronger. Or more accurately, the main characters got stronger and we were introduced to villains that outclassed him. There's still a good number of people I would put below him though.

It's called powerscaling babe.

Gildarts before Tenrojima can leave a massive hole in a body of water in the middle of the ocean open for minutes. He was able to throw 13 punches instantaneously and has poof! Speed in a casual mindset. It's already been proven Natsu isn't capable to reacting to Gildarts speed when he intercepted God Serena s spell. Before that happened, he was already several feet and attacking before Natsu noticed.

Laxus isn't even a challenge for Gildarts seeing how he can spam mountain busting punches casually and negate all of Laxus' attack.

I'm just being fair because people get Butthurt at the truth. Gildarts has hax magic, dissambely them laugh.

Powerscaling? Alright, lets do some powerscaling.
Gildarts on Tenrou couldnt onehot Bluenote. Current Natsu could. Now think about it, what does this tell you? Honestly, i want to know

Blitzing fodders and attacking water isnt impressive.
Current Gildarts intercepted God Serena, he may or may not be stronger than current Natsu.

Right now Laxus>Gildarts until Gildarts gets more feats, the nuke he dropped on Azir>Any mountain busting punches Gildarts has. Sure Gildarts can negate Laxus attacks, just like Laxus can turn into lightning to avoid his. Crash doesnt make Gildarts invincible, he can still be hit, and he can still be damaged.

I dont think anyone is butthurt about this honey, pretty sure most are just baffled by your argument. There are a lot of Gildarts fans hoping he'll prove himself to be top tier again, myself included. We're just not gonna pretend that Gildarts as he was on Tenrou is anywhere near current FT top tier

1. Hiro isn't going to one shot a character when he's first introduced, I already said this.

2. He one shot him at the end after bluenote said lets get serious.

3. Gildarts blitz him and one shot him just like Natsu.

Debunked.

Gildarts would murder stomp anyone of the spriggan 12. How many times do I need to say this? It doesn't matter if he blitz fodder, it showcased his speed.

The nuke Laxus dropped can be broken, Gildarts casually leveled a mountain. Laxus can spam that nuke, Gildarts can spam mountain busting punches. He is also much faster than Laxus and if he turns into lightning, he's dead. He was able to crash light.

Also Gildarts can just use disassembly and end him from the start.

Ez Debunk.
