I dont mind power of feelings I do wish we got more of end though, but I have a feeling his powers were emotion based as well anyways.
Add to that Flames of Emotion actually removes any threat Zeref and Alvarez Empire posed. If Natsu can defeat Zeref in Base without any power up then Zeref didn't pose any threat as he could have been defeated anytime.I didnt really mind the whole power of feeling thing before the 7 year timeskip, back then it was more just a driving force to try harder, to unleash your full potential, it didnt seem to actually provide magic power and it was almost always pared with an additional factor to justify the inevitable win. But after the timeskip it started getting really stupid and lazy, PoF just became and excuse to move the story along and give the characters easy wins.. Rather than thinking up a logic explanation for why a weaker character is besting a stronger one, Mashima just ended the fights with PoF. Happened with Natsu soloing the Twin Dragons and Erza beating Kyoka with no senses, and then friggin Alvarez started doing that shit all the time, fucked Fairy Tail up hard.
Wouldve been so easy to just say Natsu has END curse power, so he can hurt Acno and thats why he's the chosen one and the only wizard capable of beating him. But instead Mashima just totally ignores Acno's immunity to magic and hands Natsu the oneshot victory. Worst final battle ive ever seen in any sort of media. Games, movies, manga, anime, nothing has ever been this stupid.
FT shouldve ended in Tartaros. Mard Geer shouldve used Memento Mori/ENDs book to kill Zeref and Igneel+the Parent Dragons+the Dragon Slayers shouldve killed Acno. No magic immunity, no FH Zeref, no bullshit asspulled Alvarez empire coming out of literally nowhere, just a simple end between Dragons, Humans and Demons.
I consider flames of emotions a legitiment power though even if it wasn't used much. It does help explain a few things like why silver called e.n.d a flame demon and what mard geer seemed to base his curses story from.Add to that Flames of Emotion actually removes any threat Zeref and Alvarez Empire posed. If Natsu can defeat Zeref in Base without any power up then Zeref didn't pose any threat as he could have been defeated anytime.
In addition we have Erza destroying the Meteor and one shotting Dragon Irene and Gray using Pof to beat Invel in Base while earlier he needed Des to keep up with Invel.
END is Flame Demon because he was made like that way from the start and not because of emotions. You may say END form was activated against Dimaria through emotions-the hatred Natsu felt against Dimaria when he saw Lucy not moving.I consider flames of emotions a legitiment power though even if it wasn't used much. I honestly think Natsu triggered them in the movie and that's why and how he turned half dragonized, but since he got rid of both seeds in the manga he stayed in "base" instead.
The real problem is the inconsistency in Natsu's strength. Natsu went from so weak that even with Igneel's power and FDK mode, he could only barely beat Zeref, to strong enough to fight equally with Zeref in base, to weak enough to get oneshotted by FH Zeref, to strong enough to mid diff FH Zeref despite the dudes infinite magic. All this without any explanation given, fans have to make up their own contrived theories for why this nonsense is happening, either that or just go with Mashima "power of love" BS, and assume that Natsu's emotions are somehow capable of providing him power beyond infinite magic. Its hardly surprising that people are calling this "bad writing".It being bad writing is an opinion. An part of the problem is less flame of emotions, and more leaving the seed portion up to debate. I think the fact that we saw a partial demonization and that he chose to remain human was sposed to signify a new integration of the two different powers.
yes but it makes sense most of the time. most manga does just doesnt pull shit out for their ass and keep using the same BS excuse to get the easy way of things like FT.Everything happen in the manga because plot demands it. Not really a comment.
Now putting it that way is perfect, it points out the part that makes it bad. A ton of people just say it’s bad and go from there. The real problem is the inconsistency in Natsu's strength. Fairy tail is a horrible series to read when the main character always wins. It makes super look good, the only thing good about Fairy tail is the anime. It has the best audio tracks and files and the art and animation is HQ. naruto however has bad quaulighNow putting it that way is perfect, it points out the part that makes it bad. I gotta admit, the audio from Fairy Tail is amazing. My favourite thing from the series by far.Fairy tail is a horrible series to read when the main character always wins. Lol Did you even bothering paying attention when watching the movie?Acnologia vs. 7 DS >>>>>>>>> Natsu vs. Zeref 2
Spiritual Acnologia >>>>>>>>> FH Zeref
Only way the anime can save that bottom tier fight is if they let Natsu go END like in the movie, not that incomplete shit against Gray. He still should be able to access END power even if he destroyed the seeds, all that did was prevent him from turning into a full-on demon. Natsu wasn't gonna turn into a dragon cause of the antibodies but by destroying the dragon seed made sure he 100% won't.
That's the same thing. Gildarts is also kind of trash.Powerscaling isn’t broken, it’s just bad writing.
Welcome back. And I’m positive I did though. Animus thought he was a dragon from first glance when he transformed but look at dude’s exact words he said to Natsu when he was getting dusted:Lol Did you even bothering paying attention when watching the movie?
Natsu didn’t go END wtf
Nope it's fake news probably. So has anyone heard about this supposed interview where Mashima says that Jellal is a powerful or stronger than the most powerful characters in Rave? Wana know if this is true, since it would be a game changer for where the series stands at the end. Can’t think of a better place to ask.
Where do you get your scaling? Rave’s top tiers are widely ranked at planetary in most battle boards. FT top tiers are Country, an their God tiers are Continental.Nope it's fake news probably.
Rave characters stand at mighty country level to continent level(Elie with Etherion was such)
While the strongest character in FT Acnologia could only go country level only after absorbing Space within Time.
