Gajeel got hit by Bloodman's most powerful attack, swam deeper into it to save Levy, swam back out, got hit by Mard's curse, willingly ate a bunch of poison to change his element and then proceeded to slaughter Bloodman, literally punching him to death. Gajeel is a cut above the average spriggan, I'd say he's on par with Dark DeS Gray.

No way lol. He punched Bloodman to death because he doesn’t have high endurance or durability since he mostly remains intangible. Not to mention curses like Macro and Enhancements were nobody to be found during the actual battle, I wonder why.

Even though Gray and Gajeel at their best are at a similar level, Gray is superior. I’d put him closer to Natsu and Erza.

Gajeel literally can not defeat any Spriggan. Probably only Neinhart if he jumps him and probably Ajeel but he’d lose to anyone else. He isn’t a cut above any average Spriggan.

The same can be said for literally every spriggan, even the big 2, they all have pretty shit durability. Doesn't change the fact that the characters who beat them, still beat them. Natsu is above Jacob, Gajeel is above Bloodman.
Transport was nowhere to be found in Jacob's actual fight, Ice Lock was nowhere to be found in Invel's actual fight, Macro was nowhere to be found in Juliet and Hyne's fight. Hax doesn't get used because it's a hassle to incorporate into fights, doesn't change the fact that the author chose for that character to get beaten by another, because in the end regardless of hax, they are simply weaker.

Gajeel is nearly on par with Natsu, which is where I'd put DeS Gray as well, close but not quite there. As for Erza, who knows, her PL has always been hard to judge, she could still be stronger than Natsu for all we know(doubt it).

Gajeel could slaughter at least half the spriggans with much more ease than he did Bloodman. Neinhart's only option against Gajeel is Torafuzar, so an easy win. Ajeel lost to Elfman and Lisanna, so no threat. Bloodman he already killed. Jacob he would absolutely slaughter. Wahl he would beat to death. Larcade he would massacre easily. God Serena he would prob beat. Dimaria, Invel and Brandish are the only real threats because of hax(besides the big 2), the rest Gajeel takes handily, just as Natsu and DeS Gray would.

I doubt August have shit durability though. Didn't he tank Gildarts strongest move.
He did pretty much only had a few scratches on him. I find it weird Gildarts used a named attack for historia God Serena someone who’s inferior to a regular spriggan.

Fair, I guess you can say August and Eileen have decent durability, since they were never technically beaten, but neither really impressed me durability wise.

Every single member of fairy tail's main fighters, even characters like Lucy, Cana, and Levy are pretty decent. All the Dragon Slayers.
Other than that, Madmole is doing pretty damn good and Kyria has performed well too. We'll see how Skullion and the other Dragon Eaters do. August and Eileen were objectively good, but given their hype I expected much, much more from them.

Madmole is a weird one in my opinion his high durability seems to correlate with his magic type. If he had no access to it would his durability be as impressive.

Beating someone doesn’t mean you’re above them. Unless you believe that Sting is a superior wizard to Larcade? Don’t ignore context. Dimaria and Larcade have pretty good durability alongside August and Irene.

I’m sorry but there’s no way Gajeel>Bloodman. Bloodman is superior. Gajeel just got lucky that Bloodman didn’t use his curses properly and he was also lucky that he fought Bloodman and was immune to Bane Particles at first due to his iron lungs.

False.

Neinhart can simply summon Historia Wahl, Historia God Serena and Historia Bloodman like he did in the war and beat down Gajeel with those three historia’s at once. I don’t see Gajeel defeating those three historia’s then defeating Neinhart himself.

Ajeel fought Elfman (who has a hard counter btw) and Lisanna like a day after he was hit by a Jupiter Canon. He was clearly not at his best. We saw how strong he was vs Erza, don’t underestimate him but I agree Gajeel would probably beat him.

Jacob would literally clap Gajeel out of existence lol?

Wahl is too versatile for him.

In what universe does Gajeel beat Larcade lol? What are you talking about? Larcade stopped Kagura’s strongest attack with two fingers and Kagura is one of Ishgar’s strongest mages. Gajeel would not slaughter Larcade. He has no counter to RIP. He will eventually close his eyes and die.

He beat Bloodman because of plot. If Bloodman used every single curse against Gajeel in their battle, Bloodman would have won.

He also wouldn’t beat God Serena either.

I think you’re forgetting how strong the Spriggan’s are lol. Seriously, Larcade’s hax unintentionally affected IRENE yet you think Gajeel would massacre him? Lol please reread the final season.

Y'all really acting like Gajeel could solo bloodman when we see him need Levy twice and he got a power up. There's no ifs ands or buts, he got a power up from that transformation. Like every single transformation in the manga that is new and comes out at the end of the fight to give the hero the upper hand is a power up.

Trying to say MCBs are normal iron (when we see him eat normal iron and it does nothing to his cellular structure or give him black iron scales) is hilarious.

Also Ajeel would stomp Gajeel. Gajeel has no way of even harming Ajeel let alone touching him. Sands of Death and it would be over. Elf only won through plot and Ajeel not using his best moves. Gajeel is worst type of fighter to fight a serious Ajeel.

Tho, honestly I could see him beating Larcade bcs Larcade was getting tossed by Sting before he even got a power up. Oh wait current Gajeel would get f-ed over due to pleasure. Without pleasure, which is his best magic, Gajeel should be able to down Larcade.

Disagree with Larcade. Sting did zero damage to him lol throughout their whole battle. Larcade always got back up unharmed after every attack. I don’t recall Larcade ever been impressed by Sting’s attack power. The only damaging attack was that shadowy thread one from the shadow.

Pleasure isn’t necessarily the best magic Larcade has. Larcade can still make Gajeel too hungry to function properly or just put him to sleep for eternity.

Gajeel could indeed solo Bloodman. Levy only helped Gajeel in 2 instances, and in both instances Gajeel would have survived Bloodman's attack even if Levy hadn't done anything. Gajeel would have broken out of 2nd seal just like how he broke out of 3rd seal's Over Skelter, which is a stronger version of the same spell. Gajeel would have survived the black sea curse just like he survived it against Torafuzar. It may have even given him incentive to use his shadows, and he would have figured out that he had a way of harming Bloodman without needing to eat.

Bloodman's particles did not increase Gajeel's magic power or his physical strength. What happened was the iron in the particles allowed Gajeel to absorb the anti magic particles, and the anti-magic particles changed the properties of Gajeel's magic to match Bloodman's curse. This allowed Gajeel's punches to actually touch Bloodman. That's what changed Gajeel's iron scales to black. If there was any increase to Gajeel's magic power, it would have been from the tiny amount of iron mixed with Bloodman's particles. The amount of magic power Gajeel would recover from eating such a minuscule amount would be less than if he ate a regular chunk of iron. It's not like the iron was super charged with high amounts of ethernano or magic power either. In fact, it's quite the opposite. Not only are the iron particles not high in magical power, they are actually mixed with anti-magic particles that would have adverse effects on Gajeel's reserves and health.

Gajeel would do just as well as Natsu or Gray against most of the Spriggans. Let's not pretend that any hax that would take out Gajeel wouldn't also take out Natsu, Gray, Erza, or really any member of Fairy Tail that relies on direct combat. Bloodman never got a chance to use his supposed other "best curses" against Gajeel because he was too busy getting beaten to a pulp. Gajeel was simply too fast and too strong for Bloodman to even keep composure once he had the means of touching Bloodman. Bloodman's historia had the chance to pull off those curses against Rogue, and still those curses weren't a game changer. Honestly, I don't want to hear anything about PIS from Bloodman when Jacob is the undisputed grand-daddy of PIS for literally closing his eyes because he can't handle cleavage.

Madmole is a weird one in my opinion his high durability seems to correlate with his magic type. If he had no access to it would his durability be as impressive.
Madmole should be on Kyria's level, and Kyria's durability is pretty impressive. Honestly, the dragon eaters have all been very impressive on all counts. They are confident enough to be hunting the god dragons. That confidence is backed up by the fact that they easily beat Mercphobia's human form. Skullion beat Gray. Madmole tanked some of Natsu's best attacks. Kyria oneshotted Lucy and Wendy with a roar, injured Mercphobia, and went toe to toe with Erza.

Gajeel could only defeat Bloodman via help and eating his power to get his level of strength and the means to make him tangible, that is why he entered a new form which is a substantial increase in a Dragon Slayer’s power. You would be surprised as to how much magic power a small amount of magic iron is capable of possessing even when mixing with another sorce of power, it is basically no different from Wendy eating Face magic as well to gain Dragon Force. Bloodman did use his best curse, Gajeel and Levy just managed to escape it, Historia Bloodman was weaker than his original form. Merc’s human form is not impressive on the account that he has no full control of his magic, if that were not the case, Merc would one shot any of them, Team Natsu can beat any of those Dragon Eaters when given the chance. Jacob can see even when closing his eyes, likely some sixth sense, it is common for characters to exist that have an issue with indecency.

WSD Sting is superior to Larcade. Have them fight again and as long as Sting has access to Rogue's MP, he wins.

Sorry, not only is Gajeel stronger than Bloodman, he is significantly stronger. The difference between the two is about as vast as the difference between Natsu and Jacob(so very vast). Gajeel won because he is stronger.

True(don't actually know what you're referring to).

Gajeel doesn't need to beat those 3 Historia, he can oneshot Neinhart and they'll disappear. Though apparently looking at them funny kills em too.

Like Jacob clapped Natsu and Mirajane out of existence? Nah. Gajeel beats him to death with just his fists, no named moves, just like he did to Bloodman.

Bloodman displayed considerably more versatility than Wahl in his fight. Gajeel would eat Wahl for breakfast(literally).

Bloodman could use all the curses he wants, wouldn't have made a difference. The more powerful character wins, and Gajeel won.

God Serena is decent, but he's only normal spriggan tier, so below Gajeel.

No, I am remembering how poorly spriggans performed against FT. FT top tiers are a cut above, that includes Gajeel, Laxus, Natsu, Gray, etc. Larcade giving Eileen mini orgasms accomplished nothing, Wendy and Erza were fighting Eileen fine before Larcade's magic, they fought her fine during Larcade's magic, and they fought her fine afterwards. Larcade's magic changed literally nothing in Eileen's fight. Larcade's affecting her with his magic means nothing if it doesn't actually accomplish anything.

Well Sting did not win by himself through and through, even at his highest point he still needed help from others. Gajeel only became stronger when he ate Bloodman’s particles which gave him the strength of a Spriggan or higher. Jacob can clap if he wants, it does not mean he is inferior alone as he could take hits from Natsu and Lucy and Makarov. I wonder if Gajeel can survive Nuclear fusion temperatures. Which Gajeel was only after the powerup from Bloodman, we do not even know what other elements God Serena has, he even has a advanced flame magic or water magic which he can easily encompass many high level FT members. Spriggans have shown to be better than any other villains in the past, powerful enough to annihilate countries, even when the top two Spriggans opted for suicide because or change of hearts, FT could not beat them

How did gajeel held his own against natsu? Are we supposed to ignore last arc feats or something?
Is laxus gonna one shot kyria?

So mira vs jacob
And laxus vs wahl conversation seems to have ended.
The conclusion seems to be that mira is considerably below a springgan

Average springgan > mira

And laxus can kill an average springgan casually, if we are to believe august hype and ignore severe pof and other bs in wahl fight. So thats at least

Laxus >> average springgan

Does this means laxus can casually kill mira :gwah

Laxus >>> mira
???

Gajeel being significantly above springgan doesnt seems right.
Majority springgans used hax
Once bs is used to overcome the hax, they lose quite easily
Bloodman, wahl, dimeria, lacarde and even august comes here.
Then some idiots didnt use their hax properly like jacob, brandish

Hax magic is always annoying. There is no real good way to judge them

Natsu and Gajeel are relatively around the same level when you look at it closely, really, Natsu only used one time power ups or powers that do not define his standard scale, they both can defeat standard Spriggans, either with their own skills or power ups. Natsu doesn’t use Savage Flames again because it harms him and his Seven Flames is from all the DS. So Natsu is right back where he was before those.

And even in this verse, apparently hax magic does equate to strength via magic power.
