Natsu is Clearly alot stronger than erza now. Her destructive power is nowhere near his now.

Love how people decide to just rank people according to destructive capacity........... that's such a bad way to do things. The way I rank characters, I take into account, destructive capacity (DC) Intelligence, versatility, speed, stamina, durability and magic reserves (MR).
With the Natsu vs Erza I'll give a run down of the comparisons
DC: Natsu >>>> Erza
Intelligence: Erza >> Natsu
Versatility: Erza >>>> Natsu
Speed: Erza > Natsu
Stamina: Natsu >> Erza
Durability: Erza > Natsu
MR: Natsu >> Erza
In conclusion, I would honestly say it would be an even fight, with only Erza's wide array of armour's keeping her in this. In the end I would give the fight to Natsu extreme diff.

Durability:erza>>Lucy ( only two tier different becoz Lucy had take stronger spell attack without an armor to protect her while erza had armor as defense , but erza still upper than Lucy coz of the fight with the demon)

Well Lucy have prove that so many times that she is the in the rank of no.2 in term of intelligence after levy .

No that's not true. There are a lot mages in Fairy Tail who have better intelligence than Lucy (Freed, Mira, Erza).

Intelligence in FT I would have Levy, Freed and Lucy above the others. I am talking about book smarts there. If it's about magic knowledge then I'd say Makarov is definitely first, and after that you could make a case for anyone (actually if Mavis is considered as a member then she's first). Others in the series like Hibiki, Jellal, Brain etc are also incredibly intelligent.

If it's battle smarts then idk I think everyone does well, they all fight within the capabilities of their magic.

Erza is the sharp one. SHe figured out Midnight's weakness very quickly. During the monster hunt in GMG arc, with her first Blumenblatt attack she figured out the weakness and type of various monster classes. Her success in a fight depends on her ability to find a matching requip against enemy's offence. Her stone eye means illusions don't work on her either. Gray is another smart guy. Both their fighting styles have a creative element to it which needs intelligence. Lucy keeps losing her keys again and again. As of now, she hasn't figured out a way to keep them safe.
Erza has also shown to have considerable amount of stamina, be it in GMG where she defeats Kagura and Minerva in sequence, or in Tenrou arc. Gray and Mirajane seem to be lacking in this area.
If luck is a factor deciding success Lucy is luckiest followed by Natsu. Laxus and Makarov are on the unlucky end of the spectrum. Too strong equals needs to be retired frequently to maintain the flow of the story and MC means it always ends well no matter what!

Nearly all of this is completely wrong......... show me panel's where Lucy has more DC that Erza? Erza blasted through plutogrim, when did Lucy do anything more superior, are you even reading this story....... please stop.

We have been watching FT for a long time now, and Erza has proven many times that she is superior to Natsu. But as time goes on things change. It had me wondering about how Natsu stands against Erza now. Im not talking about playing fighting or anything im saying a real fight. Yes they both got some new powers and transformations and upgradea. But i think its time to come to reason. Im not doubting Erza but i think its clear now that Natsu is the superior one.

What do you guys think?

I'm assuming you're talking about Natsu overall? As far as I can tell...

I think it is apparent that Natsu has caught up quite a bit since the Tartaros Arc. When comparing the two characters...

• Natsu > Erza [Attack]
• Natsu > Erza [Defense]
• Natsu = Erza [Speed]
• Natsu = Erza [Magic Capacity]
• Natsu = Erza [Stamina/Endurance]
• Natsu < Erza [Intelligence]
• Natsu < Erza [Versatility]

They're pretty much on equal footing in comparison with their stats where they both win 2 categories and tie the rest. However, Natsu has the two main factors while Erza has the two minor factors in terms of attributes. Therefore, Natsu should take this.

Not to butt in but i think the reference here involves the CSK destroying Plutogrim and that is her power technically, i would consider that a temporary power however and i would not factor it too highly into her power level but that's just me. As far as power levels go as much as they are fun to discuss it is probably best for everyone to just do there own way of scaling as i highly doubt even Mashima could make a list that would hold up with what he has wrote throughout the series.

Name all of the opponents Lucy defeated since the GMG and all of the opponents Erza beat since the GMG.

I personally don't think that natsu is that much superior to erza (in FDK Mode he'll turn her to ashes but I don't count that cuz one-time-use.) I think if they went serious natsu would beat erza, no doubts. And I clearly remember lucy saying if natsu went all out he would swipe the floor with her. So erza would beat her easily too where's the problem here? O.o

Natsu will wipe the floor with Lucy even if didn't go all out. And of course Erza will beat her. I don't think anyone is questioning that (or they can in their right mind).

Does every discussion on this forums have to change into an argument? There's no clear statements about characters' strenght, Mashima didn't give us exact stats, so there's no reason to enforce ours opinions...
About Lucy, it's hard to tell how strong she is now. In previous arcs, she was one level below Natsu, but now she has new power (Star Dress) and we don't know what she can do now. I don't think she surpass Natsu, but she can be on his base level.

Get used to it even when there is chapter discussion thread people start to discuss power level of characters that wasn't in that chapter

The stats overall means nothing it's more get to matchup look at Yuka his defence is over 5 it could be crucial ( his magic) against some opponents but if he face someone fast that isn't depending on magic to increase strength /Attack with it we all saw effect ( he get smash quickly by Kagura twice )

At end it's hard to Discuss power levels in overall and it gets to everyone to favorize favorite character that's why i make power ranking i usually don't include my favorite character.And also any character shouldn't be underestimated in both his/her fighting capabilities or how usefull he/she is look at Warren overall his very weak but how usefull this guy is no one should question
