Mirajane defeated Heine and Juliet, intimidated said swords with her magic power, got wrecked by Irene, was pretty much tended to by Brandish, then fought Jacob with his eyes closed.

Erza went from fighting Ajeel, helped against Neinhart and intimidated him with her magic power alone, fought Berserkers, blocked a full powered attack from Natsu and Gray simultaneously with her bare hands, then destroyed Irene's strongest enchantment with a broken leg just moments after taking Irene herself on with Wendy's help.

I'm not arguing whether Mirajane is Spriggan level as that is quite a broad tier, but repeatedly making it sound like they display the same general level of showings through the mentioning of said tier is a bit misleading, no?

without he using his max magic lol. If he had used the spatial magic she would lose. Minerva, Kagura, and even Lucy could defeat Jacob if they fought in the same way he fought against Mirajane. The strong thing about him is his spatial magic.

The point is, she still defeated Jacob. Jacob could be blind but if the one he's against is weak asf, then he would still win. Stop discrediting a character just because they have tactical advantage. That's like saying anyone couldn't have won against any enemies if not because of PoF.

Man, you'd think fighting when you're magically exhausted to the point you can't even go your weakest takeover would be a bigger hinderance than closing your eyes (and still being able to sense their presence therefore not being actually blind in the fight) would be a bigger disadvantage...

The eye closing is a bigger advantage because Mashima felt the need to mention it, simple as that. I still say Mira wins a fair fight, but let's not pretend Mashima specifically mention the eye closing for no reason.

Mira says mentions that not Mashima and we know Mira is humble like hell. Jacob also mentions that it's not a hinderance to close his eyes and he only tripped up once due to terrain change but got his bearings after the first slip up.
