He was, Wall stated that despite being afflicted by MBP, Laxus still operates at top tier condition, and Laxus stated that it doesn’t bother him as it only hurts him from time to time, so no, he still operates at top condition

Most of the Spriggans have the same level of magic power. Larcade is slightly more. Irene and August have way more. Their magic power manifests in different ways though, so not all Spriggans are equal when it comes to hand to hand combat or fighting. Some Spriggans can hit very hard and take a lot of hard hits. Some can't, and compensate by relying on their magic's hax to avoid a brawl.

END's power wouldn't have killed Zeref. END's attacks weren't strong enough to seriously hurt Gray or Erza. Anyone stronger than Gray or Erza can block his attacks. Zeref wouldn't die to END's attacks even if he wasn't immortal.

Not the case as even Hax has the same strength level as the other Spriggans, END’s power would have killed Zeref because it is to surpass god based abilities, that explains how he managed to overcome Dimaria’s god based abilities too, END was not even fully transformed which is the same as becoming stronger overtime

That doesn't even make sense as a sentence. Hax is just a term used for powers that allows you to win without directly engaging in a physical fight.

Surpassing a god doesn't mean anything. END's powers didn't kill Dimaria when it hit her, and she has the powers of a god. Anyone that is stronger than Erza can block END's attacks, and Zeref is stronger than Erza. Unless END's power gives Natsu attack power on the level of Dragon Force, which it doesn't, it's not even beating base Zeref.

It has been established with the MPF that even had magic has a power level system to determine the strength of the wizard’s. That only goes to show how skilled Spriggans are at not dying, as Zeref pointed out before, even when Erza used PoF? Because that is a major factor seeing as she got one sided by fodder berserkers who are not high enchantment products, END would as Zeref’s immortality is god based so END would surpass him, plus END has yet to fully transform

What does MPF have anything to do with it? MPF determined how much magic power a particular magical attack has. As it happens to be, a mage like Jura using a huge nuke does more damage than weaker mages using significantly less impressive attacks. Doesn't change the fact that Wall's attacks hits a lot harder than say....Jacob's attacks.

I am saying that some Spriggans hit hard and have good physical durability to brawl, and some don't and therefore compensate with other tactics. What about that implies that the Spriggans are somehow "skilled at not dying"? What is that even supposed to mean? Or are you saying Dimaria is somehow "skilled" for not dying to END's attacks? Dimaria survived END's attack because it wasn't strong enough to kill her, not because she somehow "skillfully avoided dying". Again, what is that even supposed to mean?

Yes, being able to trade blows with Igneel's power puts Zeref on a level above Erza, even with POF. Even if Zeref wasn't immortal, he would simply be able to block any of the attacks Natsu used on Gray just like Erza did. The worst that would happen is that his hands get slightly burned. I'm not interested in fanfiction scenarios where END fully transforms. Natsu with END's power when as he fought Gray would not have been able to beat Zeref.

And magic power determines the strength of the individual spell from the caster, it does change the fact that Jacob can overpower base Natsu relatively easily. Zeref made a point at how they can avoid death at times even when Fairy Tail would do whatever it takes to win, that means Dimaria has that high of stamina and durability to keep conscious even. Which Igneel’s power was not that impressive by visualizing it, which it only has supposedly the ability to bypass immortality due to it’s nature. There is no proof that Zeref would since END did not reach his full transformation, and Gray has Devil Slayer Magic, meaning he counters END with ease, END would have beat Zeref, given time

Jacob only managed to overpower Natsu when Natsu was holding back. The strongest attack Natsu was willing to use was the combo kick with Lucy, and that attack was weaker than the punch Makarov used to send Jacob flying. Natsu could have easily sent Jacob flying if he was willing to punch as hard as Makarov did. In any case, what Jacob did to Natsu is still nowhere near as impressive as what Wall was able to do to Laxus. Wall is actually able to match the force of some of Laxus' serious punches. When they do land clean on each other, Wall's attacks are sending Laxus flying through the streets. The Spriggans have varying attack power.

Zeref never "made a point at how they can avoid death at times even when Fairy Tail would do whatever it takes to win". Actually, I don't even care. It simply doesn't matter. Zeref has better durability than Dimaria. They both have the 'power of a god' which END is supposed to surpass. Natsu's attack with END's power can't kill Dimaria, so they're not killing Zeref. Gray having devil slaying magic is no excuse. Erza doesn't have devil slaying magic either, and she was able to block END's attacks. Zeref would do the exact same thing.

Igneel's power is wholly superior to END's power. First of all, out of everything, Zeref has only acknowledged Igneel's power as having the potential to kill him. Zeref has never recognized the potential of END's power as being able to kill him. Not once. The first punch that Natsu landed with Igneel's power send Zeref flying through the solid rock, far more impressive than anything END's power can do from a visual standpoint. This attack would send Erza flying into Gray, and knock them both out.

Personally I think Larcade is at the very least above all of the Spriggans bar DiMaria (and even then I'm iffy on that because he was portrayed as stronger... though I also subscribe to the logic of feats > portrayal so this is a grey area for me, Age Seal is crazy but I can't remember whether it was confirmed to be able to stop the likes of Laxus in it, I would think not though given that E.N.D just straight up said no to it).

Larcade's hax are just way too good. His Orgasm Magic is pretty much a win button, his Hunger Magic leaves opponents worn out and his Slumber Magic ends fights quickly. This dude crippled a whole battlefield including Gildarts and Laxus, and it didn't seem like it was particularly strenuous on his part. There's also the fact that he went up against his complete counter and still almost won. As much as I love that fight Sting was only ever competing because he was immune to Larcade's win button and could eat the tentacles that would get rid of said immunity. Even the ending of that fight was caused by immense luck on Sting's part. Now yes, you can argue that Sting isn't particularly powerful (I peg him as Historia S12 level), but he was amped by Rogue (I have WSDM Sting as mid-S12), immune to his orgasm hax, and had a solution to his only other "I win" button. Before Rogue gave Sting the power up he was clearly losing even despite the massive advantage he had on Larcade. I don't think there's any other Spriggan except Larcade that pulled off such a good performance against their direct counter.

As for the part about the regular S12's not being all that different... I can see what you mean because the variety of hax makes them hard to rank, but I don't think its to the level that they're on par with each other. Since you used Ajeel and Wahl as the example, I'll try and use them too.

So Ajeel's got a couple of things going for him, his sand body makes him immune to physical attacks, he's got a city-wide sand attack and he can use it to sift around on the battlefield. His sand can also drain moisture from the victim. Impressive? Maybe, but I'd argue Wahl is the harder combatant to fight. His Weakness Magic allows him to alter himself to become a counter to what he's facing, he can make weapons from thin air (Alchemy) and his damage output is dramatically more impressive. Their performances also show a difference in strength to me too, Ajeel's fight with Erza was impressive but his Sand Body mitigated a fair bit of what Erza could use (Wind/Water were the only useful Requips aside from Nakagami). He then went on to lose to Elfman and Lisanna.

Wahl on the other hand fought a half-dying Laxus. This sounds bad but despite his condition the man still had top tier MP within the FT guild. That means a half-dying Laxus is somehow on par with the likes of Gray and Erza when looking at pure MP even in his condition. He was also showing impressive speed and strength, perhaps more so than Erza during her fight, as I can't see her replicating Laxus' bullet dodging. Regardless though, Wahl put in a good performance and showcased a number of qualities. The first is that to beat him you have to be a versatile mage, if you only have one type of Magic he's going to stomp you. Second is that he's decent in CQC and has a massive arsenal of firepower. Third is that if things are looking bad he isn't like the other Spriggans where they just default to their nuke, Wahl enters a peak version of himself where everything about him is tailor-made to kill the opponent. Admittedly though, his actual durability is somewhat hard to tell as yes Laxus did one-shot and kill him once he got passed the immunity, but Machina are apparently just that vulnerable to electricity. What shouldn't be overlooked about that scenario is that it was a healthy Laxus that killed Wahl. Laxus at the start of the arc would have killed Ajeel with one nameless nuke if we are to believe August (and we really have no reason not to believe this). So Wahl, a being inherently weak to lightning, being killed by Laxus' named and seemingly very powerful spell is nothing to hold against him.

For these reasons I can't put Ajeel and Wahl in the same tier. Wahl is just far more dangerous to most mages as versatility appears to be quite rare in Fairy Tail.
Tbh Im actually of the opinion that portrayal matters about as much as feats do, I think I oversimplified my comment just a bit so you guys somewhat misunderstood me, so I'll go into detail here. What I meant by the first part of my comment is that Mira scales to all spriggan tiers(except the top), even Larcade, despite him being above the average spriggan(not much above).

I agree on Age Seal not being all that, and that higher tiers(probably even Larcade) could prob ignore it, but I disagree on the effectiveness of Larcades magic. His magic can be fought through, Eileen, Kagura and Sting all did it, I have no doubt Zeref, Laxus, GIldarts, etc could too if their lives were on the line. As for Larcade doing well against his direct counter, sure, but lets be honest, Sting isn't exactly top tier.

Now for what I meant about the second part of my comment, about spriggans not being all that different, what I meant was that they're overall strength is more or less the same to the point where the "tiers" don't mean much, not that there is no difference in their individual stats. I've said before, characters on the same general level can have vastly different stats. Some have better durability, some have larger scale magic, some have more potent magic, etc.
The way I consider character stats in Fairy Tail is pretty much the same as how Mashima laid out the stats for the Demon Gates, except replace Curse Power with Magic Power.
Can't find a translated version but from top to bottom it's Health, Attack, Defense, Speed, Intelligence, and Curse Power. If I were to judge a spriggan like Neinhart it would be:
Health: 3000
Attack: 6000
Defense: 3000
Speed: 1000
Intelligence: 2000
Magic Power: 12000
And for a spriggan like God Serena it'd be:
Health: 4000
Attack: 5000
Defense: 12000
Speed: 5000
Intelligence: 5
Magic Power: 10000

That's generally how I've thought of FT power levels since the end of Tartaros. And to a lesser degree even before GMG. As for Wahl vs Ajeel. Spell size means nothing to me, so Wahl busting a bunch of buildings doesn't impress me. Ajeel moisture drain is mediocre too. Killing Wahl with a named attack rather than a nameless nuke does get some credit from me, but not enough for me to consider them a tier apart. The stats I'd estimate for them are:

Wahl
Health: 5000
Attack: 5000
Defense: 7000
Speed: 5000
Intelligence: 3000
Magic Power: 9000
Ajeel
Health: 5000
Attack: 3000
Defense: 4000
Speed: 5000
Intelligence: 2000
Magic Power: 10000

Natsu only tried to get him to not wreck the guild hall, he was still in-based mode, nothing to suggest that he was holding back even in base mode, if anything he tried to do what it takes in his power to stop him, it does matter because that explains their better durability and endurance, unlike a Dimaria, when Zeref sees END, he will welcome Death again, Gray is still able to hold his own with his power just like how weaker DES can hold their own against stronger dragons, That’s a hill, not a mountain, he acknowledge that it could kill him because it is the power of the dying

Natsu was not going harder on fodder, Bakel, and Neinheart than he was Jacob lmao.

DiMaria's Age Seal are not getting overwhelmed by Larcade who got his butt whooped by Sting lmfao. He doesn't even have higher MP than a standard S12 and DiMaria would kick his ass w/o it by feats lol.

Natsu absolutely held back against Jacob. There's 2 reasons we know he did. The first is that the other members of the guild hall commented that he couldn't fight all out while within the guild. The second is that Natsu never used any attacks stronger than the punch Makarov used on Jacob despite having the ability to.

Zeref literally kept saying that he doesn't wish to die anymore after Igneel's magic vanished, and he flat out says that even END can't kill him. Not once in the entire series has Zeref ever stated that END's demonic power has the ability to kill him. Call it a mountain or a hill, it's still far more impressive than any attack done with END's power. Zeref acknowledged how powerful Igneel's power was, and even stated that Natsu's ability to kill him boiled down to how much strength Natsu had. Simply having the power of the dead would not have allowed Natsu to kill Zeref if the power was too weak. It still needs to be at a certain power-level.

Gray having devil slaying magic is completely irrelevant to the discussion. Erza flat out doesn't have devil slaying magic, and she can still block END's all out attack. Anyone that is as strong as Erza can block END's attack, whether or not they have devil slaying magic. Zeref is definitely just as strong as Erza, if not stronger, so there's no reason he can't simply just block the attacks done with END's power.

This is an excellent way to look at it. Magic power influences the stats, but not everybody with the same magic power has the same stats. My only disagreement with you here is Larcade not having slightly more power than the average Spriggan. IMO, Larcade should have more magic power than at least enchanted Neinhart.

He was not holding back in base mode, he was only holding back in not using FDKM, as @Jko said, he even had a rough time with subordinates soldiers as well while holding back as he stated for himself. Regardless what you think, Spriggans (besides Irene, August and Larcade) are the same level as each other, the only confirmed in story stats are different is Neinhart as he needed to be away from the battle. only believed Natsu could kill him because it is the power of the dying. Zeref is a hypocrite so do not take what he say literally all the time because he is crazy with bipolar personalities. But anyway when an opportunité presents itself that means he would welcome it, even Natsu strongest attack that bends the fabric of reality was not able to impressive him to think it would kill him. END would work because it is the power to surpass god based powers, Gray’s power is relevant as it counters demon powers, so it works

Natsu was holding back in base mode, because he never used any attack stronger than the punch Makarov used. Natsu had many attacks that were stronger than Makarov's punch in base mode. He had his secret art. He had the roars that could oneshot Bluenote. He has his massive large scale punches. None of them were used. Natsu also held back against Bakel, until he decided it was time he didn't. So no, he didn't have a hard time against subordinates.

Calling Zeref a hypocrite is a poor excuse. Zeref has never, not once, stated that END's power can kill him. So this isn't even a case of hypocrisy where Zeref changes his mind all the time. This is simply a case of Zeref never having said it. Hyporcrisy is when you say one thing and mean something else, or when you are inconsistent on what you're saying. There's no inconsistency here. Zeref has never stated that END's power has the potential to kill him.

Even if Igneel's power had some special property from being the power of the dead that allows him to kill Zeref. the power itself has to actually be strong enough. If it isn't strong enough, it won't do enough damage to kill Zeref. That's why Zeref didn't just keel over and die when Igneel's power grazed him. That's why Zeref said that it depended on how much strength Natsu had left. Likewise, even if END's power had some special property that allows it to completely negate the immortality granted by Ankhseram's curse, it still has to be strong enough to actually hurt Zeref. A punch that Erza can block barehanded is simply not going to cut it.

Gray's devil slaying magic is irrelevant, because we're looking at the attack that Erza blocked. Erza is not a devil slayer, and Erza can still block END's all out attack with negligible damage. You don't have to be a devil slayer to block END's attack. You just have to be as strong as Erza. Also, judging from the damage done to Erza's hands, both Natsu and Gray's attacks were roughly the same level.

Natsu was holding back from FDKM as he was in base mode the entire time, It is called scaling, when then, Makarov's attacks are weaker than Natsu's at this point so that is incomparable. His secret Arts would not have mattered either as Jacob would stay alive from the intense heat of his more powerful mode. that was a no name roar for Bluenote so not as strong. Zeref being a hypocrite is entirely acceptable as he is crazy, Zeref was not aware that END had awaken so how would you know, besides, Zeref stated that END was the only one that could kill him, Zeref only speculated that it could, but would never know, besides he could still heal himself after, even the strongest attack Natsu conjured did nothing. Even then, Curses are based on the power of feelings as well, so Natsu can still reach the potential with END to kill Zeref. Erza had power of Feelings for magic that stopped an incomplete transformed Natsu who is weaker than fully transformed.

Lol, seriously? Base Natsu > Makarov so he was using stronger hits than Makarov. Jacob was blindsided by Makarov and when he is blindsided he is susceptible to getting launched due to not having his guard up just like he did against Lucy in Taurus mode or DiMaria against Wendy. Launching people who don't even have their guard up is not impressive in the least and I dunno why the heck you go on and on about launching moves when they mean nothing if they don't actual damage the opponent or launch them a considerable distance (not a block). Natsu's base flames were not even scratching Jacob and the only attack that hurt Jacob was when Natsu and Lucy combined attacks and yet that attack only drew a small bloody lip. Base Natsu was not holding back more than he was against fodder, Bakel, and Neinheart. He would one or two shotted Jacob like he did against the others. Like you really think Natsu cared more of an empty guild than his freaking comrades that were being held hostage. He has done room level visual wise Base FDK attacks yet we know the attack power itself is mountain-multi-mountain due to previous feats used with them. Smaller scale feats mean jack fudging squat and we never assume they are doing less than their bigger scale attacks unless they are actually trying against one opponent and not the other. Natsu was actually trying against Jacob while he was not against Bluenote, Alvarez fodder, Neinheart, Iku, or freaking Arlock. Not even mention his Pre-TS adversaries. You are downplaying to ridiculous levels just bcs of visual feats lol.

7DF room level hand punch visual wise > SF room level punch visual wise > any of his DF, FDKM, or Base attacks. We judge how hard he is going on someone by logic and the effort he put into the fight. Like I said we never go by visual feats to judge the power he is using. To think he was going easier on Jacob than weaker enemies and straight fodder is crazy. :bnah

Makarov didn't blindside Jacob. Makarov gave an entire speech between the time he threw Happy between Jacobs hands and when he punched him. Makarov was also standing directly in front of Jacob. There is absolutely no way Jacob was blindsided by Makarov. He'd have to have not seen an attack coming from a guy standing directly in front of him giving a speech. Plain and simple, Makarov's punch was stronger than the combo kick Natsu and Lucy did. That's how we know Natsu held back. Yes, Natsu is stronger than Makarov, but the attacks he used on Jacob were weaker than the punch Makarov threw because he held back.

I'm not interested in arguing against fanfictions of END's "full transformation". If Natsu used END's power to throw the same attacks he used on Gray or Erza, Zeref would block them.

that is not the same as not having his guard up, he was sup blbabergased that Happy interfered he could not protect himself from Makarov, you can still see Happy between his hands, so he was blindsided. it is called scaling, Makarov could not beat a spriggan, yet Natsu managed to leave a small mark on Ajeel who had no reason to hold back, so it scales, size does not matter here.

You don't have to considering we see overtime END's transformation progresses, he wasn't though as he was still transforming, thus would get stronger, even with PoF Cruse equivalence.

Saying that Makarov blindsided Jacob is such a terrible argument, I'm shocked that I'm expected to take it seriously. What blindsiding? Jacob had his eyes wide open. Makarov was standing right in front of him. Makarov gave a speech right before he made his attack. The only thing Makarov could have done to telegraph his actions even more is literally announce the moment he was about to throw a punch.
Moreover, even if I grant you the ridiculous notion that Jacob miraculously didn't notice Makarov at standing in front of him giving a speech, this argument still fails at the most fundamental level simply for the fact that Natsu and Lucy also "blindsided" Jacob with the combo kick. Natsu and Lucy literally got Jacob to close his eyes so they could kick him in the face. Jacob doesn't have his guard up here either, so there's absolutely no excuse for why it couldn't match the force of Makarov's punch. The combo kick simply wasn't as strong as Makarov's punch.
What's even more ridiculous about the "blindsided" argument is that it is totally ignored in the context of Jacob vs Mirajane. Here, Jacob is literally blind and he gets defeated by running blind into into Mirajane's fist. Mirajane was never going to hit him with that punch if Jacob stood still and tried....oh, I dunno, his transport? You guys expect me to believe that Makarov only managed to send Jacob flying because Jacob with his eyes wide open was blindsided by a guy standing in front of him making a speech....and then in the next breath expect me to believe that Jacob was fully operational and fighting at a level where he would no-sell FDK spells when he's running around with his eyes closed smacking into trees and walking into attacks.
