Gajeel pushed him to high diff.

Well while it was on panel, it showed Natsu using LFD.

In Base or ISD/LFD sure they're close.

The minute Natsu uses DF or FDKM. Gajeel stands no chance

like, he used 80% of his magic power against Gajeel.

I doubt he is cocky enough to think he can beat Laxus, Jellal and Mirajane with 20% of his MP hence he wanted to beat Gajeel as soon as possible but he couldn't.

I refuse to believe he is way beyond Gajeel.

I don't think it's a surprise to say that a demolition fist or purgatory would end a fight with gajeel pretty quickly. Not a one shot but relatively a quick fight.

My point was if Natsu lands a hit at this point, it's over for Laxus. Tartaros DF and DF right now are not the same. If Natsu lands the same demolition fist he used on zeref on Laxus. I don't know what Laxus would do against that.

But again it's still Laxus>>Natsu because he can take him out before DF.
