Well, fighting a PoF enduced Erza boosted by Wendy and winning is pretty comparable if you ask me

technically she only had DS magic imbued sword, not stats when she wrekted Dragon Irene iirc.

-) August is not ">>>" Irene. Where you guys got that kind of nonsense? They're stated as equal.
But even if they're generally equal, it's not mean they've similar chances for special opponents.
If we say about Acnologia, I suggest Irene has better chances for making challenge then August (mostly because I seriously doubt August was able to copy slayer type magic, because it has tattoos/body marks).
So, need not compare August "fail" with Irene. Irene was actually very good versus Acno.

-) "A;varez Erza with single one "alive" bone who damaged dragon Irene" and "100 YQ Erza attacks on Merc" are irrelevant.
100 YQ Erza did not damage Kyria in first battle, but Res.Irene oneshotted dragon Nebal (who stronger then Kyria).
So, if 100 YQ is really stronger then Alvarez one, how it's possible ?!?
Answer: PoF.

For now, I did not see anything super impressive by DG (well, we really saw only Merc).
I believe terraform entire peninsula/continent is far more impressive then Merc fight.
For me. Merc is disappointment.

Irene can't be knocked out of her real form. The human body is the transformation not the Dragon body.

She is comparable to a half power DG who got his ass kicked by Natsu consuming a fodder attack from the Flame DG lol. Merc was not God tier status at half power.

She was originally human. The dragon body is the transformation, which is why she reverted to her human form when Erza cut her while she was in dragon form. Neither she or Acnologia are natural dragons. Either way, that point is moot. You brought up PoF Erza and she struck both Acnologia and Irene yet only one reverted to their human form and it wasn't Acnologia.

I have literally no reason to believe she's comparable to Merc at half power. She doesn't have the feats to prove it. She couldn't even beat Wendy and Erza in her human form and lost to Erza and Wendy in her dragon form. You can argue friendship power all you want, but that's a metric that can't be measured. Feats can and Irene doesn't have them compared to Merc. Merc at less than half power stomped both Wendy and Erza along with Natsu, Gray, and Lucy.

I'm just saying, PoF Erza is god+ plus tier in FT and she had Wendy who's stupid broken (S/o to @Clown from Argentina ) in her corner and they still lost to Irene.

That's a pretty good feat. Comparable to the fact hat Natsu with a slim portion of Ignia's power stomped Merc.

No, I'm saying that Irene has to consciously transform back into a human as the human form is just a transformation. I accept that their are restrictions for DS when they use that transformation.

The same half powered DG that got stomped by Natsu using only a fraction of a God tiers power? Do you think Ignia Natsu is remotely close to God tier in power? Honestly Merc did nothing, but trash a city and pick up a Sea. He couldn't even douse an attack that seemed like fodder level stuff for Ignia and got beat up by Natsu who was backed by those flames. I honestly don't seem close to God tier thus I would move him down the bracket which would make Irene comparable to him.

You don't have to downplay Irene to say some of the God Dragons oneshots her. Ignia's one attack gave Natsu the power to beat Mercphobia. Even if you say Irene was comparable to Mercphobia at half power (a whole debate can be had over this, but I digress), Ignia still oneshots. Natsu with Ignia's flames burned away Mercphobia's power for the rest of his life. The only way Ignia doesn't oneshot here is if Natsu with his flames couldn't beat Irene. Honestly, I don't think it would take Natsu as much effort to beat Irene as it did Mercphobia. I don't see Irene getting back up after the FDK Brilliant Flame.

When you analyze the fight, they're not that far off. Now obviously Merc would stomp but to a degree, yes they are comparable

we know that a small boost can give you a huge power (Atlas Flame couldn't down Motherglare but when he gave his flame to Natsu he knocked out both Future Rogue and Motherglare iirc).

Merc is not Acnologia Tier. What we saw would get stomped by Acno

Acno respected Irene's power so she is strong, though on Base Acno/5DG level? no, though she would put up a fight

No, he didn't. He stated she was still a Dragon.

Dragon Irene got hit by a PoF empowered Erza that was getting buffed by PoF Wendy and she stood there and took the attack. This the same Erza while not buffed by Wendy that could smack RoT Acno out of the sky with Blumenblatt.... Also she was never "oneshotted" as she clearly had to "kill" herself in order to be stopped.
