Well the DES went from top tier to mid tier at best.

These S-Class mages in the BDSK won't do anything prolfic. S-Class doesn't mean anything and so far, the DES that were shown have been slapped around by FT.

The GM looks so confident too when he was introduced that I'm calling that he isn't on Gildarts level or ends up losing to Gildarts. Don't know what he was thinking sending 5 DES against Aldoron.

They are like the GOI. Wasted hype.

Only kept up with it since I like dragons and wanted to see if NaLu actually happens. OP is more of a shounen that has the bolded.

The rankings for the DGS is honestly what I'm looking forward to. Since I'm in the minority that thinks Aldoron and Viernes have a chance at being the strongest. Also to see if anyone lives up to the hype to be equal or surpass Acnologia or even Igneel

Also wanted to see how the rankings end up. Will Natsu be able to use DF and FDK on his own? Will Laxus surpass Gildarts? Will Natsu become Acno tier? Will Gray and/or Gajeel ever have the power to call themselves Natsu's "rival" again? Basic stuff

To be honest, I don't care much whether she get's a power up because Erza will get insane feats, Natsu is destined to reach Ignia level, and Gray is going to do something phenomenal that puts him on a separate tier as her.

Lucy will always be behind Team Natsu

I'm asking this since the only character I see even coming close to surpassing August is Natsu.

I don't think he can negated or copy Natsu's fire magic, but August would still win either way. Natsu needs a bigger boost than DF to surpass August.

I don't think he can negated or copy Natsu's fire magic, but August would still win either way. Natsu needs a bigger boost than DF to surpass August.

August is stronger than FDK, and he can probably negate Natsu's flames. I don't think he can negate the dragonization of Dragon Force, but he should be able to negate the flames. As for whether or not dragon force surpasses August, it depends on what version. With Natsu's own power, August probably wins by avoiding the demolition fist that exhausts Natsu. If it's triggered by something like Ignia's flames, then Natsu can just Hulk smash.

I do not think he cannot copy dragon flames from natsu, he did fought against Cobra so I would say so

If it's the DF he had against Zeref, then I have August winning. Really depends if you believe August can negate Natsu's flames or not. If he can't, then there's no reason it wouldn't blow apart August's body like it did to Zeref. If he can, which is what I think, then August can at least mitigate enough damage to take advantage of an exhausted Natsu.

August should be able to block and negate DS magic, But, as I suggested before, August should not be able to copy DS magic.
negate =/= copy

As we know, the slayers (dragon or demon) have seeds or something like it which turn them into their counter-kind (into dragons or demons).
Manga does not say similar about God slayers, but I believe they should have similar too ('coz dragons and demons have it).

If August is not dragon slayer, he should not be able to use (copy) that magic. He can negate with cancellation magic (or ones which are similar), but not like he did it with his copy magic.

I think that suggestion is similar with reasons why August is unable to copy Holder-types for magic.

August's negate comes after copying the magic, and he can copy any caster magic. Dragon Slaying Magic is caster magic. The only reason he may not be able to negate Dragon Force is because it's a transformation on a person's body, and we've never seen August simply negate someone's magic inside their bodies. He's just negated attacks as they were about to touch him.

I see no reason he can't copy, and negate, Natsu's flames the same way he negates Cana's Fairy Glitter. He just wouldn't be able to negate Natsu's physical strength unless he negates the Dragon Force itself.
