That guild was fodder. All they could do was sneak attack. No member of them had any powers to speak of. You mean gray was tagged, gray wasnt even effected by it. Raven tail were a standard fodder guild.

Lightning palace didnt suprise her, by laxus strength, but by laxus evilness. Erza was only suprised by 25 formula tank, which laxus never did. Nothing else suprised her then. Ajeel nuke, erza went like oo big, nothing more. Only real surprise erza had when she witnessed laxus not being a tier or two below her in currect arc

Did we read the same manga?? Bro literally slapped Gajeel and Natsu around and left them in full body bandages. He was non fazed by Mystogan, holding the mental advantage and getting a retreat. An he wasn’t fazed by Erza either.

You would normally be right, but this is Mashima. He makes a point of incorporating this stuff. Perfect example being how Laxus’ gaiden focused on him searching for what he would bring to the guild. An it enhances both the scenes of him talking to Gray in Alvarez, and of Erza’s speech after the big battle.

Bro, this is beneath you. There is nothing to suggest they’re a weak guild. They had decent hax and performed quite well against FT’s best squads. Not to mention Ivan’s strength is established.

Well, you are both right. She thought Laxus was below her level and was amazed that he's grown so strong since Arbaless that he could tied her level. She didn't expected him to match her. That was clear in the fight. Laxus rised with far power up (strength, magic, stamina) since Arbaless to reduce the gap between them.



During Hide and Seek, it was not a duel between characters. Gray is vastly stronger that this guy or perhaps you put him above Roufus of Sabertooth ? Without trick, Lucy clearly won her fight as well. Laxus avenged them. I mean, Laxus destroyed them, but, if you replaced him by Natsu or Erza, the result was the same.



It's only about magic effectivity. Natsu did the same when he explosed the sand trap, just before punching his face. As well, Ajeel was surprised that Erza could counter his sand with wind and cut his sand body with water. Without Sand World who can counter wind and water, Ajeel was off. We don't know if Laxus can destroy Sand World, the storm seemed to regenerate through Erza's strike.

She literally says she wished she had Natsu or Gray’s helped to face him. You can’t argue she knew she needed help, she literally acknowledges that. She’s not surprised that Laxus is her equal, she’s surprised by the gap in their blows. An there isn’t a single thing to suggest, throughout the manga, that Erza has ever been superior.

Honestly, yeah I would. Their hax clearly worked well enough on them and their is no reason to suggest the rest wouldn’t have put up a good fight. Lucywas coming out on top, but it wasn’t by no country mile. Maybe Erza could beat them, but I’m not sold about Ivan.

Ant-lion pit was pitifully small compared to the wall of death that stretched the horizon and dwarfed Giant Makarov. The two attacks don’t even begin to compare. An there was nothing impressive power wise for the swords, it was simple Pokémon logic, elemental weaknesses are a thing.

Raventail were fodder mate. They have no feats. I dont think even ivan had any hopes of beating elfman.

I dont know about fillers, other also add stuffs which contribute little extra. But they are mainly for good fans. Attack of the titan ost comes to mind, that dairy episode. But normally they are not needed. Cobra racer and midnight enhanced strength never came up after that. Thinking cobra is around pre ts natsu level doesnt really effect the story, does it?
