So by your logic Neinhart > Current God Serena who tanked Grand Chariot Cope with it Spriggan were all defeated by FT members except August and Irene and they are fodder for BDSK level.
The only spriggan bar top 2 who seemed a bit different was GS considering the feats. All the others were one-shottable materials once FT bypassed the hax.
Irene and August were betrayed by plot as Mashima couldn't think of means to logically kill them off.
@WoWfan Jellal was not defeated by neinhart. Heck, he didnt even have any injury.
Cana moment was a gag moment. At that point, I think Brandish was superior to them.

Jellal was a he was unconscious during that time, you don’t really need to have a visible injury to fall unconsciou, Natsu managed to punch Erza hard enough to make her fall unconscious but there was no wound.
that is my point, as people takes that gag moment as legitimate durability fact about Brandish and nothing else as you would likely see.
for how durability works is based on how much magic power they can handle as their bodies must be strong enough to withstand said power.

- Lucy showed new Star Dress
- Erza masters enchantments at will
- Laxus has mastered Red Lightning and gained a new, more powerful mode
- Natsu can harness Igneel's power and go Dragon Force against Aldoron
- Jellal gained a new spell more powerful than Grand Chariot
- Wendy can master the separation enchantment
And you still believe that powercreep doesn't exist?? The main characters became stronger than the Spriggans, it's time to accept the facts.

Wendy mastering separation enchantment by Irene's teaching, Lucy mastering a new star dress is not that impressive when someone like Yukino can do that on a whim for the first time attempt, Natsu lost Igneel's power when he fought against Zeref, that is more metaphorical as DS was taught by Igneel. Erza and Laxus mastering new spells are impressive, but still struggled against people who are closely relative to each other. Jellal did not gain a spell, just used a different one, it just added two more stars, the Grand Chaiot from Alvarez is way more powerful as he opened up the atmosphere itself, not to mention objects that would fly from space to earth in seconds which is FTL, that together yields greater results than anything he has done.
The fact remains that Selene said Irene's power is greater than Wendy's who defeated someone who is Suzaku's level, and her enchantments can affect her, which is stated only to work if they are weaker than the caster.

No need to be rude, besides doesn’t take away what i said

Okay, going into rank mode here, Apologies to anyone who may see this, do not take this against anyone specifically or what not but it must be said especially when it comes to the 2 factions in the series.
This is to be said first, but here goes,
Sure I like the Spriggans because simply because the are part of the Alvarez Empire which is an actual military like faction which is something rare to see to take center stage in these kind of series, and it gives other individuals besides FT members a time to shine and show their relevance, and has enemies that actually live up to the hype in the end.
Yes, I don't like the Diabolos simply because their powers are too niche, uninspired and unwhimsical, like seriously a Sword Master Dragon Slayer? does he eat other swordsmen? Plus they have a tendency to act like cockroaches, no matter how many times they are flushed down the drain, they keep crawling back.
AND NO, none of the previous two dictates what I feel wins in an actual fight, I go by what it shown and/or stated in the series or relative information that is presented in the series itself.
To start off, for the scaling based on what is presented with Spriggans and Diabolos since that is the bit here frequently.
Larcade (He is an anomaly to me and hard to know where to place him so he has his own tier here)
The other Spriggans
Here because throughout the arc they have been constantly compared to one another either through statements or through showings of practices of their power. so they would have similar in the same tier stats as one another with their own unique powers.
Q: But Wooooow, God Serena went down to a different spell compared to Grand Chariot, shouldn't that make him stronger than the other Spriggans?
A: Nope, if anything, is would be expected really, especially when certain people talk about a year passing and how they should be stronger, when the past showings of Spriggans in this sequel shows they can still contend with even heavy hitters, the only ones that would be better than standard Spriggans are the DDK (The reason I don't add the DG is because they are in a class of their own). a weakened Spriggan spell defeating a being that has significant portion of a DG's power, or a Spriggan's power backing a wizard that can immobilize a slightly weakened DG? and this from the same person who is lazy and uses her power based on a title that she had for years.
Q: But Wooooow, Irene was damaged by Erza and Wendy, shouldn't that downgrade her?
(NOTE: for sections that seem to be lacking in links it is because they would the same links as previous once as they are previous point reconvened and repeated to fit the current one.)
The point being of this whole post is not to swayed people into liking certain characters, they are entitled to their opinions, that is not what is being ranted about, but what I can't stand is people bringing personal feelings into battle discussions like these without representation or proof to back that up said claim, with all due respect.
EDIT: I said different magics because certain people says that determines their stats. hax and such which only leaves them with something like regular human feats and such.

I almost didn't read any of this, but am glad I did, so I could read you justify ignoring what actually happened in the manga for your own personal head cannon reason and then impose that on your power scaling. I have genuinely been wasting sooo much time

you seem to be confused with the term "ignoring" with "enlightening" with what was shown in the manga, you clearly did not read what was said in this case. clearly not a lot of time if your response is this short.

It seems that more points are needed with what I think, this time beyond simply Spriggan and Diabolos comparison, this time with Zeref, Acnologia and DGs and why they do or don't compare.
First, we need to look at the max that Acnologia can achieve as the Dragon King.
And what is the exact value of the Space Between Time is important as there have been other cases of the Space Between Time, such as with Dimaria who sealed away time of the entire world. And in the Raw they have the same use of kanji too.
Time and World are relative here as back then, when Ultear was talking about the future and its possible branches, she calls them Parallel Universes.
Now this is important at this point if read to not unintentionally or intentionally misread what was said here, this doesn't make Ultear that level strong, just able to manipulate the crystal's parallel selves and their trajectory.
And the Space Between Time itself is not a power but a concept while filled with Space-Time Magic, and time is a universal concept, in short, Acnologia's max power would be likely universal as he at a universe worth of magic in the Space Between Time.
Next we are to look at the DGs on where they stack, and the only one that has any remotely interesting stats is Selene.
The best that they would scale to her human form at least is what with her increasing the size of the Moon.
Now there is the thing about how her magic power could affect a town in an alternate dimension, that is impressive but there is no real way to determine the distance traveled across dimensions considering when they are in fact in different dimensions so distance is a non factor. Also since Ignia would be at her level too, whether it is in dragon or human form though wasn't felt even when projected. also magic could still travel between worlds with Selene's powers, so that would be something exclusive to her as we do not see any gates formed when she channels magic into Elenetir continuously.
And no, simply because he valued life isn't the only way he could use said attack, even when he didn't value life he could still use said attacks multipletimes.
Why's natsu so criminally underrated I don't understand this.
@MyaHeart35 did you write this seems like something you said here a few months ago
Natsu being equal to gajeel and gray means natsu's weak I can't accept that. I can accept erza and laxus being stronger than natsu cuz they have feats to back it up but I can't accept gray and gajeel auto scaling to natsu

I said ignoring, because when you use a panel to argue things that didn't happen. When you make cases for how the way you interpret how these things should or shouldn't work behind the scenes and try and present them as fact. That's ignoring the actual manga. My response was short becuase writing a dissertation to point out each individual instance of that would be a waste of time. You open with 2 points about why you personally dislike a group, and then assure us this bias is in no way present in your argument. Oh ok.

It did happen, that is why the panel exists to show proof, along with other panels on how they are structured as not a one time thing. That is how the manga portrays them, the fact you said two proves you never read the whole thing or misread thus showing you don’t have a point here, I don’t act out of emotions. But anyway.
