So Mashima put E.N.D in the movie which means we won't see E.N.D in the manga. This also means Natsu's etherous form is a dragon which is awesome.

Why do you think it's definite we wont see end "again" considering it seems theres different concentrations and severity of end this could be a different one +.+

I just made this account to verify a few things about the movie.

I just finished watching it, and there are a few things I would like to confirm, as well as giving my opinion about the movie itself.

Read at your own discretion, as these may be spoilers for the movie.

Confirmation:

1) There was barely anything regarding acnologia's backstory.My opinion of a backstory is something in depth and detailed, not some flashback.
2) Animus specifically said, "I know what you are.. the one who destroys everything, END" so I assume that the transformation Natsu had was indeed his demon form.
3) The story takes place after the time skip and before the Alvarez Arc, which still gives me hope that we will see the full transformation during the Alvarez Arc.
4) Natsu did not lose his mind when he transformed, he was clearly sane and had full control over his body. After defeating Animus, he realizes he had monstrous strength that he was not familiar with and was trembling.
5) The END partial transformation was gone as soon as Animus was defeated.
6) Movie ends with Zeref saying "The battles going to start, Natsu."

Opinion:

1) The story itself was kind of disappointing, despite the amount of time it took to create this movie. I still like the first movie better.
2) Gray's devil force(?) was pretty cool, I wish his fight lasted more than 2 minutes.
3) Gruvia scenes were as many people stated, comedic relief. Without those scenes, this movie would have been dead.
4) The fights were so-so, my personal favorite was Wendy and Carla's battle, Wendy goes dragon force, Carla goes human form.
5) This scene blew my mind; Erza used Grand Chariot. Mind is blown.
6) Despite Gajeel, Lily and Levy being in the movie, they literally did nothing. It would have been nice to see them on the screen a little more.
7) I think the best part of the movie was the last minute after the credits and end roll, where they show Acnologia, as well as Zeref, Brandish and Invel watching him from a cliff far away.

I do feel like I missed a bunch of things, but I will add them on later when I remember.

- There was literally nothing to trigger it beside the fact that Natsu was getting his butt wooped, he comes out of flames with half of his body covered in scales and he also grew a wing. To me, it didn't seem like there was anything "evil" or "malicious" about END. (Although it was only a partial transformation)

Edit: Actually I lied, there was one feature that was malicious about his transformation, it was his teeth. Looked almost like a shark!

2.Does he use DS Magic or Curses?

- He didn't really say "Fire dragon's ____" and stuff like that, so I assume he was using his regular magic. (Keep in mind that he was perfectly sane, during the time he was half demon-dragonized, he told Animus that his life, body and soul was dedicated to protecting his loved ones)

3.How strong is he?Was he able to defeat a Dragon?

- He wrecked Animus, who was empowered by the Dragon Cry staff in like 2 minutes.


And what happened to Sonya at the end?
- Sonya survives, and she is last seen in the end roll riding a big green bird with a fellow citizen of the Stella Kingdom.

Yes I do live in Japan! I recently moved back here for work.

- She said "あれがアクノロギア。。" which translates to "So that's Acnologia.." (Brandish and Invel pretty much said the same thing, but let me be the first to say, Brandish' voice actor..I hope that the person doing her voice remains the same for the Alvarez Arc if it ever gets animated! Fits her character very well)

Who did Wendy fight?

- She fought Gapri; one of the Three Stars of the Stella Kingdom. Gapri overwhelmed the entire FT team in their first encounter, but Wendy and Carla pulled through with their speed+intelligence!

Lucy kind of had a fight? A fight with the "bad-ass" Zash, who retreated after taking one kick from Capricorn. Capricorn's stardress was a little too over-powered, especially the sunglasses which nullified the manipulation magic Zash used (She really didn't do much)
But seriously, nothing too extreme. Some people probably won't even call it a fight.

Is the fight with the whole guild in Stella kingdom good? Or is it mostly fast forward ?

The Stella Kingdom were literally just 5 people. The Three Stars(3 people), Animus/Sonya and Zash. I counted Animus/Sonya as one person as Sonya didn't really retaliate. The fights in general were a bit underwhelming for my taste, but that's just my opinion. The magic of the fighters from the Stella Kingdom wasn't what you would call original either.
I personally think Erza stood out the most in the fights against the Three Stars...grand chariot really?

So you meant that she didn't use any power while wearing the cap star dress but it the star dress came with sunglass so that block the view of zash power ?..pretty disappointed that she didn't get a fight but I already guess it anyways..

Haha, it's just as you assumed. I can't really say whether the sunglasses were a part of the star dress or not, but she didn't do anything in the dress.

Maybe I'm going to watch it anyway... And it Canon? The first movie spoiler that I had translated said that it's not Canon tho lol.. Well okay.

I can't really say whether it is canon or not. But seeing as how Zeref, Brandish, Invel and Acnologia make entrances at the end, I am leaning towards it being canon. (Let's just forget about the fact that Animus confronts Natsu about END.)

I hate to disappoint you, but it's more of a very tiny flashback of somewhere we have already seen. (just from Acnologia's point of view, I guess you could say he 'changed')
Sonya and Acnologia have NEVER met, but were in the same place at the same time.
