END transformation appears dragon-like but he's definitely a demon. I'll take Animus' words over our thoughts. It highkey sucks that it feels so wasted that we didn't get at least this much partial transformation and only the small glimpse in the manga.

I just watched this really trash movie rip of dragon cry on youtube... it was missing scenes and has bad subs. But from I've seen it was dope, I saw it got good reviews on IMDB and animenewsnetwork and I agree with them. I liked the first movie but it was sad and meant to make people cry, so this is opposite from the first. Half of the battles were weak/average but the good ones were great. Even Erza's fight (!!! wild to see). Erza vs. Swan, Wendy and Carla vs. Gapri and Natsu vs. Animus were my favorites. Also it definitely isn't a question it's semi-canon at the least because there's a good amount of things that tie into the main series like Hiro said before. My favorites:

1. The Quartum Army which Zash prepared and summoned using Dragon Cry's power are Fourth Gen Dragon Slayers (!!!). They're created from dragon lacrima. This honestly had me like wtf.
2. Animus, like Igneel and the other dragons, used that Dragon Soul technique thing to enchant his body in Sonya so he can live and recover cause Acnologia almost murked him during the DKF.
3. Sonya's magic is useful as hell, the version I watched said she can sense living things and she can cloak other people's presences. Her magic is like a mix of Karin's sensory from Naruto and the nen in HxH of how you can mask your presence lol.
4. Zash's magic is op too, he used it to control Animus who is a dragon. Unlike the last movie we really didn't see any new magics. This movie had some interesting magics being used.
5. Animus legit said to Natsu when he was using END power "I have recognized you, your true form. You're the one who will destroy everything. EN-". It cut off before he said the D. So like @PoodlesJP a while ago that was END form, not dragonification. I'm still blown we didn't see this much END form against Gray. That battle was better than I thought it was gonna be even though Animus had Dragon Cry's power within him. But it's Natsu.
6. The beginning segment with Gajeel and Juvia was hilarious . Their screentime as being bros is too underrated.

The one thing that didn't make sense and confused me was how did Animus appear as human, when he was possessing Sonya's body? Thought projection? I mean it had to be this cause his body just disappeared randomly. It wasn't explained clearly at all. But everything else was cool for the most part, it had a little a bit of everything. The movie only characters turned out better but like two were jokes. Best part still might of been the ending but the version I watched didn't have it. I'll rewatch when the funimation english subbed version drops.

You are unlucky I watches the movie on you tube too. There were 3 videos of 25 mins each covering each part, so i was able to see every thing.
As for the movie, it was dope indeed, this movie fleshed out natsu's character to some extent which was expected in manga but didn't happen. He was basically afraid of his own power. The only negative was less time of battle especially the last one, that fight should have should have been longer but oh well may be short due to timming.
Natsu's END form should have used against zeref or acnologia or maybe august or irene (but he didn't fight them). Anyone less than them and that would be an overkill. END annihilated dragon animus, he would have destroyed gray.

I just finished watched Dragon Cry a few minutes ago and it was really good. Also Carla's transformation really reminded me of Sailor Moon and I like how Natsu called Plue an insect which was a nice callback to Elie calling Plue an insect.

Pros.
-High animation quality and transformation of Erza and Carla were amazing.
-This movie has Nalu written all over it, Many Nalu moments that i really enjoyed, It's just perfect.
-Juvia is killing it, Believe it or not, She is the MVP of the movie and i loved her even more.
-I enjoyed the Gray and Erza team work, They really make some decent work together.

Cons.
-Animation speed was slower than normal. I think it need to speed up abit and the animation spells were awesome but some were eaten up and wasn't really clear.
-Lucy didn't get a fight or at least a fight with Natsu. Even happy got his fight
-Like usual lack of explanation on some parts.

My perspective
Natsu and Lucy moments were written so good and they acted more closer than usual, Gajeel, Levy and Juvia are on a mission together, I really like them together as a team those 3 are good specially when Juvia imagination goes wild. I really admire Juvia and her love for Gray. I liked her so much in this movie she protected the kids with her body and then helped Gray in wining his fight. Erza using Jellal's Grand chriot was great and considered a shippable moment also again she proved that she use her brain in fights.

I admit now this wasn't dragonification, It was demonizing. I didn't believe that it was demonizing because i thought that the dragon staff was the reason for his transformation to drake but it was wrong assumption.

I enjoyed the movie, I was crying and grieving so hard for a reason i don't like to say and also laughed at some parts. Overall the animation is perfect the shipping moments are amazing. The movie worth watching but kinda short.

With that being said, I must to say that i enjoyed the first movie more despite that i hated some certain parts that weren't necessary

END Natsu shouldn't be fighting characters one on one, but instead should be teamed up with people as team work as it's better than solo wank fest of said characters who gets wanked a ton.

Also, Wait a minute.I haven't watched the movie, and mostly looked at the movie summary, but it looks like half Dragonized Natsu took down Animus, not END. Animus recognized Natsu as END, but it was dragonized Natsu that took him down. The design of Natsu even looks like a dragon with wings, and eyes of a dragon, nothing like END. So overall it was dragonized version of Natsu that got the feats in the movie. Correct me if I'm wrong. If I'm correct then, a more healthier Gray takes down manga END with a finisher.

Naw, you're wrong. The coined term for "Dragonized Natsu" is really him using END power. What you saw is his END form. You have to watch the movie cause we got trolled but a good kind of troll cause it wouldn't make any sense if Natsu really dragonized.

I seen the film when it came out here and yea its dragonized only one side of his body I was surprised it wasn't the side with the bandage on his arm cause of whats underneath that bandage
