Favorite Arc!

I would have to say the whitebeard war one since everything that goes on atm is actually based on what happened in that war and it counts as the poit from which everything in the world changes and gets ready for the second part of one piece after the time skip.

Also it is the first time we get introduced to a fight between so big forces in the pirate world and seen that the WG is not something invulnerable since it just took one Yonko to fight them pretty evenly ...

Also a very big + for me was that it was the first time shanks was seen getting near Luffy even though their meeting is yet be seen

I'm just gonna say...that Jaya and Skypeia were part of the same arc. Jaya was the "half island", right? if so, it was definitely part of the skypeia arc.

Well, I voted for Skypeia. They did something no one has done aside for maybe 2 people. What they did was so massive...and no one will ever know! Plus, it gave us a lot of information.

I knew Water 7/Enes Lobby would be 1st. It truly was an epic battleground and it was the first place where we actually saw a real powerup for Luffy.

I'm surprised at the Whitebeard war being 2nd, though. I personally didn't like it much. Ok, let me rephrase. I LOVED Impel Down and Amazon Lily was pretty good too. But the actual war at Marineford was just so, so disappointing. With mostly everything that happened there feeling disappointing, I just couldn't rank it that high.

I don't know if FIshman Island was recently added to the poll (hence why no votes), but I can see that one being such a "meh" arc for most. Very drab. The fishmen were extremely weak after being pumped up so much...though of course, this shows how badass the Strawhats had become plus also shows what badass the New World pirates must be to pass through here without incident. But yeah, aside for finding out that the Mermaid Princess was one of the "legendary weapons", it was disappointing.

Punk Hazard is just starting out. We're maybe 1/2 way done with Punk Hazard, but its definitely moving on to another island and/or boss before we finish this arc up. Things won't end up settled here. I, personally, have loved this arc. I would have liked it to be even more dangerous and the "kids" aspect of it was very boring, but aside for that, this arc has started out with some pretty good things that I love. A lot of good humor. SOme brief but good fights. and a lot of story.

Skypiea.

Romance becomes Adventure in the middle of the journey. More over Teach, Doflamingo, Tsuru, Pwngoat, Sengoku and Enel enters in the plot. Details of the Ancient Weapons, a past civilization with its descendants, new superb ability and a tyrant making the worst to their people. Never losing the unknown taste... yeah, i liked a lot that arc.

Jimm120 fishman island wasn't recently added , every arc that's in the poll right now has been there when the poll was first added I just thinc, fishman island isn't good enoutg to gett a votte because personal I hate it.

Water 7 is my fav, The action, the emotion, colorful artistry, the life feeling was all on point. truthfully I never read that arc, but I did watch it and it was A-A-A-AMAZING

Not surprise that Enies lobby is first because I think many love that arc including me but I voted for Marine ford Arc mainly because for me the most epic arc in one piece... Enies lobby is a close second but all arc are great I just don't like the first arc ^^

Should Punk Hazard arc already be included? Seeing how it isn’t finished yet I wouldn’t include it, I mean so far it’s one of my favorites but it’s not yet completed so I can’t compare it to other of my favorite arcs yet. (Sorry if this was already said and argued but I don't have the time to read the whole thread).

Arcs don't really matter to me. I like them all.

Actually, what I really like is the moments in the arcs. Ones that made you laugh, ones that got you jumping on your seat, and most importantly (Well, maybe for me) The moments that really made people cry. Like, really make them bawl their eyes out. Those are the most important of the arcs.

But if i have to choose one, well, it's Whitebeard War for me.

the marineford/ whitebeard war arc may be the greatest arc of any manga in history

Whitebeard Saga was by far the best for me !

The introduction of several New pirates, Luffy befriending other pirates and of course, the comeback of some awesome characters. Then the start of the war that changed the era and The most Badass entry for The most Badass Pirate !

The start of the war, where we see the greatest forces of the world fighting at The Pirate's Summit !

Seeing all three Admirals and WB with his commanders go all out was just awesome !

And of course, The Beginning Of A New Age With The Death Of The Great Pirate Edward Newgate !!

Enies Lobby is a great arc for several reason. It has a great villain group in the CP9, and a great story and emotional connection with Robin's fight and decision for her life, and it also showcased some of the best manga/anime fights ever. The Monster Trio each revealed their "finishing moves/forms" which were completely insane. Luffy vs Lucci is also my favorite fight ever and it was well done from every aspect.

I like the Alabasta, Skypaeia, and Enies Lobby arcs.

While Alabasta and Enies Lobby did have some good character development... the thing I like about Skypaeia was that it was really, truly, an adventure into a new land and was about dreaming big, and doing the impossible. To me, that's captured the soul of One Piece. For me, without that arc, the rest of the series would be more bland, mainly about battles, fighting, and more battles. I feel One Piece is at its best when it mixes in plenty of adventure, exploration, and dreams. Like Teach said, the dreams of men will never die!

Water 7 and The War Saga were the best for me. But every final battle in every arc was simply amazing.

In second position there is Enies Lobby and in third position came Thriller Bark.

I think it's pretty wierd that people vote so much Enies Lobby - I didn't consider it that special. The most interesting ones for me were absolutely the whitebeard war due to the awesome scenes at Marineford and perhaps Sabaody Archipelago because of lots of things: supernova introductions, Kizaru, and especially Rayleigh

Even though those arcs were so awesome I still had to vote punk hazard: usually the ongoing arc always has me hooked the most.

Oh well, I will do it right now by saying that my favourite arc so far is without a doubt the Marineford war.
There has been too many important events in this war, which, you could say, have changed the course of history.
