I've decided to due weekly threads. I think they are really fun. Plus its cool to hear every bodies opinions.
This time its Favorite Character Outside of FT Guild.
Rules of how this poll was made.
1. Only characters who are alive.
2. No Villains. (There was gonna be three exceptions with Irene and God Serena and Silver saying as they used to live in Ishgar and we know no heroes in Alvarez.
3. All time and worlds of FT members were excluded(Including Zera, Hades, Yury, Warrod, Mavis, etc, and Edolas)

[Alvarez Princess]

Ultear definitely, probably my favourite character in the series for female wise. She's a beautiful, and misunderstood person that went through so much shit, and still was able to hold on and live her life the way she wanted it, and she mentored Meredy a lot.

Lyon is cool, and I like Sherria's magic.

Never was a huge fan of Jellal tbh.

 

[Arcueid]

Jelly Bean ~

I really liked the development and changes to his character alot. He was a real badass as the villain in ToH. We got to see his motives, what made him go psycho and a very touching story of his life.
What i like the most about him though is that he decided to atone for his sins and founded a guild, rather than ending up in self-pity and do nothing about it.
Great guild to go after the bad guys and a second chance for people like him who had been lost in darkness and didn't know what to do with their lives.

Other great points:

~ Cool Design
~ Powerful and unique Magic
~ Smart
~ Is able to love a gorilla woman like Erza xD

Jellal definitely, he is strong and charismatic. Had a bad start in life, but when finally he was free, he took responsibility for the crimes he committed. Instead of wallowing in self-pity, he tried to care of those he had hurt in ToH. He ultimately didn't run away and faced Kagura. ALso his magic is very cool and has a lot of variety.'
He was greatly influenced by Natsu telling him that he should free himself first and there is not freedom for someone possessed by a ghost.
In spite of all this he is a lover boy and loses his composure whenever it comes to Erza. In GMG Arc he almost revealed his identity just to impress Erza at high personal risk.

Another favorite character is Ur, Gray's master. She was strong and powerful woman. I liked how she lived life on her own terms. She was single woman raising two kids, and if anyone pitied her due to not getting married, she said although people think like that, she doesn't remember being unhappy. Genuinely loved his students, was a great mentor and ultimately gave up her life protecting them from Deliora. Also had very beautiful magic. I like how she said, Ice magic is magic of freedom and one can be immensely powerful if they were creative and free.

Still as for the characters I think I'm gonna vote Jellal. Though his 'I must atone' and 'committing sins' thingy is pretty much annoying at this point, I still find him to be my centre of attention when he appears. Second would be Ultear (better than Jellalin terms of character but less entertaining IMO) and then Rogue.

I approve.

As for my favourite character(s), first is Sting mainly for having the toned down attitude of BoS Natsu and not being completely nakamarized. Second would be Rogue, I like the theme they have going with Light and Darkness, plus his attitude and manner fits perfectly as an opposite of Sting. My third favourite is a tie between Jellal and Mystogan, Jellal for his story of redemption and his badass magic, Mystogan for being a character with pure intentions and sealing magical portals when he was a child.

If we're talking about mostly the guild now, I would say Gray, Mirajane and Juvia are my favourites :3
Love Kagura as well, Mystogan was also splendid and mysterious

I always like strong girls with long black hair. I think that's why I immidiately put my liking on sayla and ultear.. xP
Kagura's is not really black but dark enough

Honestly not a huge fan of Brandish's mentality in this war. She should just choose a side, and stick with it. Sometimes she acts pretty bipolar not knowing what she wants. Her background was pretty meh tbh.
