Tsuyu Asui- Surprise! I'm sure most of you couldn't tell who my #1 is, huh? What with my username and avatar
A lot of you mentioned some of the same reasons why I love this character. Upon her introduction, I remember thinking to myself, "I don't know why, but for some reason, I really like this character." I love her design, first and foremost. She's just too adorable, and her hero's outfit is awesome. If I were a girl, I'd totally cosplay as this character.
Her quirk is fun, and it's already been hinted she hasn't even used all of the different abilities packed into it. I can already imagine the possibilities.
I also love her calm, cool, and collected personality and her straightforward way of talking. When she first spoke to Izuku, coincidentally around the same time I started shipping these two, I knew I was going to love this character, especially when she teased Bakugou about his anger problem. I also find her idiosyncratic tendencies of telling people to call her by her first name and sometimes poking her tongue out to be undeniably, irresistibly, unfathomably cute.
Seeing her in action alongside Izuku and Mineta and interacting with the former that arc was icing of the metaphorical cake. They didn't make a half-bad team, either. Speaking of metaphorical cake, the fact that she came to check on Izuku along with Uraraka, Iida, and Mineta after his match with Todoroki was like a cascade of sprinkles being cast all over it, and it sent my shipping hype through the roof. The fact that she was even a part of the group to come see about his well-being is proof that she has true admiration(not in the sense on romantic admiration, off course, though I hope it turns into that someday
) for him as a hero and a friend. I could go on and on and on about all the things I love about this character, but I'll just finally leave it at this; I love this character and I hope to see more of her in action, especially her backstory.

Fumikage Tokoyami - I won't go into this huge spiel about how much I like this character like I did with Tsuyu
. I'll start by saying he's a major bad**s. Like Tsuyu he's a relatively calm character, albeit with more stoicism in his wing, pun intended. His character type is far from original, but I've always had a tendency to like characters like Tokoyami. Shikamaru was one of my favorites in Naruto and Law is presently my #2 favorite character for One Piece, so...there you go. His design is neat and his quirk is hella' awesome and seems pretty formidable. I've always liked characters with darkness or shadowlike abilities, again one of the reason Shikamaru is one of my faves. His performance at the calvary battle and his complete domination over class 1-A's highest scoring student ensured him a high rank in my book. Hoping to see a lot more from this guy. Oh, and I plan on cosplaying this character too.

Mei Hatsume- I love her spunky attitude and resoluteness to sell her products. I enjoyed the match between Mei and Iida more than I should have, I'm sure, but nonetheless, that scene was just a treat. By the way, I ship Mei x Iida pretty hard because of their initial interaction. I kind of see her as Batman minus the broodiness and batshit, pun totally intended, crazy suit. Plus, while her quirk isn't as useful as in a direct battle like other character's quirks, I can definitely see it as useful for scouting missions or in conjunction with a sniperlike invention.

Izuku Midoriya- As someone mentioned earlier, I normally don't like main characters as much, Luffy, Toriko, Yukihira Soma, Tsuna being exceptions, but I think Izuku has a fantastic setup going for him. Horikoshi, in my opinion, masterfully played up the underdog trope and made me feel genuinely sorry for the character, something that very few manga to this day ever do for me. When he finally received One-For-All from All Might, despite how quick it happened, I was quite relieved and happy for Izuku. I love the fact that he also uses his brain and is something of a tactician. Those smarts in combination with a mastered OfA will be a deadly weapon in his hands. I also like that he acknowledges his naivety from time to time, like with the aftermath of his match against Todoroki. Not to mention, he acknowledges that his reasons for wanting to become a hero seem piddling in comparison to characters like Todoroki, but that he still keeps a fervent desire to become a hero out of respect for the power his mentor gifted him, as well as the fact that he simply just always wanted to be a hero.

Bakugou Katsuki- At first I hated this character, for obvious reason, but the past few arcs changed the way I viewed this character. His character has developed tremendously since his first battle with Izuku. At the start of the manga, Bakugou was hella' arrogant, and because of this, he thought he was perfect and above everyone else. And who could fault him when people have told you this practically all your life. It was the way he treated others around him that I had a severe issue with, especially where it concerns Izuku. However, if it weren't for this perceived idea of perfection he had, he probably wouldn't have realized just how flawed of a person he truly is. I think at this point he's still skirting the line between boisterousness and humility, but at least he acknowledges his other classmates ability now. Bakugou x Uraraka ftw, by the way
Honorable Mentions:
Jirou Kyouka- Punk rock chick. What's not to love? If they reveal she's a gamer and/or an anime and manga fan, she may just move up several spots.
Uraraka Ochako- After her match with Bakugou, I have nothing but mad respect for this character. Plus, she's just so lighthearted and adorable.
Tooru Hagakure- I love her quirky, cheerful personality. Plus, the fact she has to be naked for her quirk to be effective is downright hilarious, if not also hilariously disturbing.
Momo Yaoyoruzu- Boobs...
Mount Lady-Boob...again....
