I kinda like the Ichigo (Bleach) after the dankai training. He looked so bada**, serene, yet immensely powerful. FGT and his normal Bankai is also decent enough. I have more characters but I will post later on with a pictures or links.

The character design I also like is my favourite character Byakuran from KHR. *points to icon* I love how his design is symbolic in an ironic way. He appears quite heavenly with his light, feathery hair and white outfits (the final battle of the arc further enhances the fact); however, he's more like a fallen angel.

You guys watched the getbackers? There is also the original manga...but i never found a readable Edited Manga. It had my most favorite blond male design...Amano Ginji(when he is in Lightning Emperor mode). Mido Ban and Kurudo Akabane(guy in my avatar) were pretty cool as well.

I like a lot of the Stand character designs from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Especially Star Platinum, Crazy Diamond and The World.

The characters in general from JJBA have cool character designs. Their hairstyles and clothes are all very unique. Plus the art style makes everything stand out so much more. Steel Ball Run has really stepped it up in the art department for this series.

Saito Hajime [Rurouni Kenshin]
He’s got that villainous look going on, the eyes and facial structure radiates killer intent and the same predatory instinct that Grimmjow would be proud of. Though Saito looks far more experienced and cunning. Like with Killy the police uniform also suggests military efficiency, more importantly it reflects his sense of duty as an adherer of Aku Soku Zan.

Yeh, he does have a great design and character too.

Hmmmm... I like Kakashi's, but my favorite would have to be Jiraiya(Naruto). He had a great design and it fitted his personality well.

From Soul Eater:

Crona - I think the androgynous elements work well here, the way I perceive his/her gender often depends on my mood at the particular time of viewing. Not to mention the chibi version is damn adorable.

Death the Kid - Those Sanzu lines accentuates the roundedness of his head, which appeals to me for some odd reason. I also like his skull themed accessories.

Justin Law - Hip priest, can switch from a good guy to a bad guy in an instant. Got quite a disturbing rape face.

I am reading Rurouni Kenshi and i have to say that i love Sanosuke design and his outfit suits him very well. When i look at him, i can only see the most badass and "coolest" character that i ever saw.

There are also a lot of other characters, which design i simply love like Itachi, Deidara, Ace ....

I like the character design for Cross Marian (D. Gray-man). He's so cool that he wears half a mask and glasses. He has a stubble that would usually characterize him as an oyaji, but it's not so blatant here. I like his well, cross motif and black long coat. I think his badass self probably enhances his design.

Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Qwaser of Stigmata) : She's give me a more cooler character design of a tomboy girl !
Mio Isurugi (MM!) : I like her blondie, cute DFC character design.
Any cool male character of Ookami-san : Their bishounen designs will really appeals to fangirls' taste !
Any female character of Mayo Chiki! : I prefer the novel designs over the anime designs, but these girls are really attractive. Because it's one of harem/romance manga/anime I've read, I find every single girls in these series very attractive !
Golden Darkness of To Love-Ru : She gives a more badass loli impression in her ! I find her so cool !
Every single characters of Aria the Scarlet Ammo : I find these characters a more appropriate design for me (I'm very fond of moe) !

In this case, I think I could say that in general CLAMP has character designs. Yuuko is one of the best; she gives off the feeling of being shrouded in mystery with elegance and humor too through her attitude, actions, and also clothes. I really like Yuuko's clothes, though in most occasions they are rather sexy they look awesome. Other great character designs by CLAMP can also be seen in some other Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle characters such as Syaoran or Sakura, or Kobato.

Recently I truly like the character designs of Akagami no Shirayukihime. All of the characters have great designs, despite being simple and generic as it is a shoujo. The artwork of the characters physical traits might not be very special, but I really like how the clothes are designed. It is not very detailed but the elements blend well that it's enjoyable as whole. Obvious example is Zen, the male lead's clothes. Another design I like is the girl who owns the bird whose name I forget; she also has interesting design.

Even though they're quite stereotypical of teenagers, I really like any of the character designs from Tanemura Arina's works like Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, Shinshi Doumei Cross, etc. But I also enjoy the designs of Sailormoon characters as well (: To be honest, I'm not very picky when it comes to character design because I don't pay too much attention to the little details; mostly their character/personality.

Grimmjow Jeagerjaques [Bleach]
Like Tetsuhito, a fine physical specimen. However rather than that misleading sense of controlled arrogance, the messy blue hair, scarred chest, six-pack and that crazy grin all suggests the opposite. The Sexta Espada does not care to hide his ferocity, his resurrection further accentuates this. Its streamline design, wild long hair, talons and tails are predatory characteristics that literally bring out the animal within him.

As soon as I saw this thread I thought of his ressurection form, I thought it looked immense when I first saw it.

The other character I thought of straight away was Jiriaya from Naruto, and he seems to have been brought up a lot.

The teddy bear guy from Afro Samurai, can’t remember his name, but the mask has got that built-in cool factor.

Also awesome, quite a creepy idea for a character.

Another one was Alita from Battle Angel Alita, not only for being a female fighting cybordg, but Yukito Kishiro really puts in the effort to make her seem animated in panels where she is moving, especially her hair.
