FT has quite a number of no sells, when someone remains completely unaffected by another characters' attack as a testament to their strength. Which of these are your favourites?

Some of them are not 'no sells' IMO. Like Hades vs LFD Natsu for eg, Hades clearly took decent damage, and was floored for a while. He even praised Natsu for giving him a beating he hasn't received in 10 years (I wonder who managed it 10 years ago)

But anyway, my favourite one was Bluenote no selling Cana's Fairy Glitter. Because there was so much build up leading to her Fairy Glitter, and Bluenote utterly tanked it like a boss. It didn't even phase him, and then he proceeded to trash talk Cana lmao. This easily takes my favourite no sell.

For number 2, I would put Mard tanking everything DF Natsu had to offer without any injuries, after all that talk of POF; and then proceeding to grab his head to smash it to the ground. @Biri Biri add it

For third, idk. Conflicted for this. I guess it's a tossup between Laxus tanking Natsu/Gajeel, Jellol no selling Natsu, and Larcade owning Kagura with a single finger (Larcade's would've easily been number 2 or 3 for me, if not for the utter disappointment that followed).

Hades only had dust and scratches on him though. He could talk, walk and continue fighting as per usual. According to Erza, Natsu's attacks didn't work too.

Mard was hurt from DF Natsu's attack, evident from him screaming in pain. His durability allowed him to hang in there.

My favourite is Mard vs the DS trio. He did it with such finesse, like a boss on the throne :toc

Yes, doesn't mean he no sold it. He was floored for a while, and admitted to having got a beatdown he hasn't experienced in 10 years. It didn't work, in the sense it didn't win them the fight

Mard was hurt way less than Hades. The guy showed no visible damage from the attack, all it did was make him angry and then proceeded to grab Natsu's head to smash it. As for screaming in pain, Hades in that panel did scream in pain too(far more in fact). As did Laxus against Natsu/Gajeel. But they were on the list, right?
Ok, maybe saying he no sold it is not appropriate, but he did take nearly no damage from Natsu blowing all his power onto him. He comfortably tanked it.

Mard on his throne was absolute greatness lol. Forgot about it

@Biri Biri, you can add 2 another moments :

- Erza tanked Laxus's roar : Laxus destroyed her Lightning Armor but she faced his roar, stayed on her feets and then, was ready to enter the real fight.
- Elfman and Mira tanked Star Mix Dress attack from Lucy who exausted all her magic in that blow. That panel showed that the new Elfman is as tough as Mira herself.

Yes, agree for Mard Geer vs the Dragon Slayers : epic moment. I also like Irene making the flower, showing the gap with her daughter

Most of these are most defiantly not "no sells" but out of all of these

Pre-time skip I'll go with the DF Natsu burning through Genesis Zero. As for post-timeskip, Larcade casually blocking the sword was pretty badass moment for him

Dragons have some of the best no sells in the series for obvious reason. Acnologia has the best no sells in the original series, during the final battle. And aldoron has the best no sells in the 100 years quest.

I can't remember the laxus fight and @Ronin31 Erza didn't no sold shit infact I'd argue that laxus was the one doing the no selling (Erza fans remind me of Zoro fans, they'll gas anything up)

Mard Geer was the Lord of no selling.

Dude no sold everything thrown at him in his base.
Even tanked (but not strictly no-sell) all out dragon force from Natsu without any real injury.

For these things I stopped talking about battle topics.

Many people here read what interests them and discard what does not interest them.

Here they see Laxus tanking Erza's enchanted swords, well it is what it is.

But they don't read that Erza was holding back in that attack.
Laxus himself says it, if people know how to read they can also understand, it's easy.
Also, it shows in the blows they give each other right after the statement that she was holding back.

The blows are equal in power from both, when before Erza's attacks were much lower compared to laxus.

Laxus had no problem saying that erza was holding back, but a lot of people here do have that problem.
