So this is something I've been wanting to discuss.
Some also agree that the final arc of magi has been a mess. Imo, Magi now lacks the spark and charisma it had in the beginning of the series. Magi doesn't feel like Magi anymore, it feels as if the entirety of the original plot has shifted to something unrelated to the adventure it began with.
There are quite a few issues with the final arc, that I'm sure most can agree on.
1. The empty Alibaba hype. He comes back with interesting new abilities (which kinda felt bs) but that went nowhere. Instead he suddenly decided to just propose to the girl he barely had any development with. Not to mention how the whole David -Sinbad thing seemingly went over his head.
2. The underuse of Yunan. Yeah, I'm still sore about the yunan vs arba battle. Yunan was always a character who shrouded in a lot of mystery, we know little to nothing about him or his abilities. That battle was bs, not just because he had to be rescued by Aladdin (who doesn't have the experience yunan does mind you) but because it was a good opportunity to go into his character and abilities more, but it didn't happen.
I'm curious of there's anyone who also had similar issues with the final arc of magi
